7:56 AM
We got our car washed yesterday after Eddie picked me up from work. It was fun. Vallerie seemed to think it was cool.
We went to supper with my Grandpa and Aunt. I had a steak, it wasn't very good. I think it actually made me a little ill... Feeling fine today though. Thank god. Vallerie ate so much! I don't know where it all went. She ate a whole banana, some applesauce, and some french fries.
We watched our last episode of Game of Thrones. It was pretty good. Can't wait until the next season starts. We have plenty of shows to watch until then. True Blood started last Sunday. We didn't watch it even though I really want to. Since we'll be gone, there's no sense in starting it and them missing the next 2 episodes.
I made Vallerie's birthday card. I figured I would regret not making one for her, so I went ahead and did it. I think it's cute. It's got a duck on it. It should match her cake, even though I havent seen it yet. We haven't wrapped her presents. I guess we'll have to wait until we get to my moms.
We leave tonight for vacation. NOTHING is packed, the car isn't clean, the house isn't as clean as I want it. I still have laundry to do also. Eddie wanted to wait until today to get things ready, so that's what I did. I'm sure we'll be ok, but I am freaking out a little. I am worried our house will get robbed, and I'm worried the cat will die. He'll be alone for 2 weeks. Even though my Aunt is coming over every couple days, I'm scared he will think we're not coming back. With the dog gone, maybe he'll think we left too... We were going to leave the tv on for him, but Eddie told me he didn't want it on for 2 weeks because he didn't want it to break. I didn't even think about that, so maybe we'll hook up our old tv in the bedroom and leave that on.
I might clean out the car during lunch today. I won't be able to vac it out, but I can at least get the trash out, and the stuff in the trunk in a box to carry inside.
I just hope there's enough time to do everything. Eddie wants to sleep from 5-9, and we're going to try and keep Vallerie up until we leave. I guess I will sleep in the car.
I kind of wish I had an extra vacation day so I could go home and get things ready to go. Oh well...
1:34 PM
Eddie snapped a few pics of Vallerie in her swimsuit. It's the 1st time she's been in it. I know he doesn't want me to put pics on here, but I can't resist.

Wednesday Whoo Hoo
7:33AM
Yesterday after work I cleaned the bathroom. The small dog crate was still in there, and I thought about breaking it down, but we set stuff on top of it, so for now it will stay. When we get home from vacation I think we'll look into getting some sort of table or thing that goes over the toilet to put stuff on instead.
Gave Vallerie a bath... the inevitable happened. I knew this would happen eventually... Here's the story.
Eddie and I were watching her take a bath. She was splashing around and having a great time. All of a sudden she stops, and starts playing with something under the water. I thought that was weird because all her toys float. I look a little closer and see that yes, she has pooped. So, we pulled her out of the water and I cleaned up the tub. Eddie said her hands smelled like doo doo, and she kept smacking him in the face. (haha) After the tub was clean, we put her back in and got her all squeaky clean.
Eddie shaved his head and beard, and I waxed my eyebrows. I was worried that they would be puffy and turn red like normal, but this time I did something different. I put hand sanitizer on them right afterwards (for the alcohol) They seem less red and puffy than normal on the day after. I think I found my new trick! It was actually kind of Eddie's idea. I asked what I could use, and he said that men use aftershave, and that made me think of hand sanitizer. We have alcohol, but it was in the baby's room and she was asleep.
I made the car wash posters for a friend at work. My glue was really starting to irritate me at the end. The letters weren't sticking very well, but I got them all glued down. I think they turned out nicely. She's not in the office yet, so I don't know what she thinks. I hope she likes them.
We watched the second to last episode of "Game of Thrones" It was really good. I wish we would have had time to watch the final one, but it was 11:30PM and I had to get to bed. We'll probably finish it up tonight (i hope).
We leave for vacation tomorrow, and we still haven't packed. I have a few more things I want to clean and do (laundry!) before we go. I would like to get all the stuff off the surfaces because I have a feeling Dalmo (the cat) is going to go bat shit crazy and jump on everything he can while we're away. The last time we went on vacation we found dirt on the walls, and up high (from the plants we had) I think we're going to close all the doors down stairs and upstairs, so he will only have the kitchen, dining, and living room to run around and cause havoc. I feel bad leaving him for so long. My aunt is going to check on him every couple days. I hope he doesn't get lonely.
Eddie took me to work today. I think he's going to clean out the car and get all that ready to go.
Still haven't made Vallerie's birthday card... If I'm going to do it, it needs to be done tonight. I have what I want it to look like all drawn out, all I have to do it cut out the stuff, and glue it on. Once again, that doesn't seem too hard, it just takes a while with all the different cuts and measurements and stuff.
I have been looking for a new cricut cartridge. They have came out with so many new ones I don't even know where to start. I would kind of like something that has different holidays or occasions on it. I might have to get each holiday separate. At one time I had all the cartridges on a spreadsheet and I ranked them on how bad I wanted them. There are so many new ones now though, that I don't think I could even list them all.
They have a new cricut machine out too. It's called the Cricut Imagine. It cuts shapes and stuff just like the others, but this one PRINTS scrapbook paper. You can even cut shapes and print patterned paper on them at the same time! It looks amazing! I don't think I would ever get one though. As cool as it is, I would think that the ink would be terribly expensive (all their other accessories are), and who knows how long it would actually last before you had to change it. Maybe one day if I win the lottery or something I'll buy one. It would be too much upkeep for me as it is now.
Oh! My mats! The ones I sprayed turned out to work nicely. I used the same one for the car wash posters I made. I was really surprised it stayed sticky enough for it all.
Tonight we're having dinner with my Grandpa and Aunt. We're going to wait and do Vallerie's birthday stuff with them until we get back. Which is fine with me. 3 days until she's 1! WHOOOOOOO HOOOOOO!
Vallerie stood up on her own yesterday twice. She wasn't holding on to anything, she was in the middle of the floor. It was really cool. I missed it the first time, but I got to see it the second time.
12:13 PM
I think I found the cricut cartridge I want to buy next. It's called "Wild Card" http://www.cricut.com/shop/#0/1/195/3/Cricut/Cricut
It has a bunch of different card shapes, and even matching envelopes to cut out. I hope I have the spare cash to buy it before they discontinue it. Maybe after vacation I'll go into Hobby Lobby and see if they have it. If not, I can probably find it online. The good news is, it's not terribly expensive like some of the others. I probably shouldn't even fret about it since we'll be on vacation for 2 weeks... I might not be able to turn my brain off... yipes

Tuesday Countdown
7:52 AM
It's the final countdown for vacation. We leave in 2 days. So much to do before then, I don't even know how we'll get it all done.
Yesterday Vallerie had her 1 year check up. They didn't give her shots because she wasn't a year old technically. They didn't tell me she wouldn't be able to get her shots before she was 1 otherwise I would have made her appointment for after we got home from vacation. So, we have to go back on the 18th for her shots. That's ok though because I have an appt that day too, so we'll be in town anyway.
She weighs 20lbs on the dot. Everything else was good. We can start giving her whole milk instead of formula now, but we're going to wait until we get back from vacation to make the switch. The doc said we could give her whatever we're eating now, so that's pretty cool. I can not believe she will be a year old on Saturday. It's crazy.
Eddie and I watched a few episodes of Game of Thrones from our DVR. We have like the whole season on there that we haven't watched. I think we only have 2 episodes left. It started to get pretty good last night, but I had to go to bed because it was getting late. I don't know if we'll watch any tonight. I have to make some car wash posters for someone at work. I'm gonna use my cricut.
Speaking of my cricut, I ended up finding my glue spray yesterday, and took 4 of my cricut mats and sprayed them with it. It's tacky glue, so it's not permanent. That's a heck of a lot cheaper than buying new mats. It worked the last time I did it, so I hope it works again. I probably should have washed the mats off first, but I didn't feel like going downstairs and doing it. If for some reason I ruined them, I'm no worse off than I was before.
I am hoping to make Vallerie a birthday card. I really want to make her one, but I'm afraid I won't have time. I drew out what I wanted it to look like, so now it's just a matter of cutting out the stuff and gluing it on paper. Doesn't sound too hard or time consuming, but it can be, depending what problems I run into.
Probably going to go out to eat with my Aunt and Grandpa tonight. We had planned to go sometime before we left, and there's only tonight and tomorrow to do it.
Eddie and I had pork chops, mashed potatoes, and mac for dinner. It was good. The pork was cooked excellently. The taters were not homemade, they were Bob Evans. Pretty good though. We bought some bananas for Vallerie to eat, and some chicken in a can (ick) She likes chicken though.
I'm a little sleepy today. I hope that I will wake up a little bit, and that the day goes by fast. I don't think that it will though. It already seems to be dragging on.

Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon... wowie
Friday was fun. We had our summer sales meeting... we played golf. The team I was on won. We all got $25 gift cards to Dick's Sporting Goods. We also had a raffle, and I won an IPOD Nano. It's pretty cool.
After I got home, we went shopping. We went to Dick's and bought a cooler, a waterproof case for our camera, cell, etc.
I finally bought my swimsuit. It looks ok, I'm happy with it. We bought some other clothes and stuff for our trip. Kind of exhausting shopping that much in only a couple days.
We bought Vallerie's birthday outfit. It's really cute. It's a size too big, but they didn't have her size and we kept coming back to it wanting to buy it. So we did.
I got most of the pictures on my computer onto cd's and put them in the safe. I need to get a bigger cd to put the videos on. I'm happy that I did that finally, even after it was too late to save the other ones. I have a couple cd's from family members that I need to put on the computer. That can wait though.
We watched the movie "Fighter". It was pretty good. If you're not a boxing fan though it might be boring. It was probably one of the best movies we've gotten through netflix. It's not netflix's fault, we're just picking stupid movies.
Sunday we went to Church, and then out to Spaghetti's. It was pretty good, but a little too pricey for me. Vallerie did not barf or anything, so it was nice. I went to Old Navy to try and return the shirt I bought, but they were closed. All the stores in the mall were. I guess they opened at noon. I'm not sure. We'll probably return it today.
I cleaned part of the house yesterday. Mostly the kitchen. We had a bunch of things out of place since the dog crate got moved out of there, so I straightened that up, and mopped the floor. I did the dishes, and cleaned the stove. I also did some laundry. I washed my old Gobo fraggle rock doll. He made it through the washer/dryer fine. Vallerie likes him I think.
There's still a lot to do before we leave in a few days. I don't know if I can get everything I want done, but I'm going to try. I tried looking up directions to my mom's today but it really pissed me off. They kept giving me 3 different ways to take, and none were the one I wanted. I didn't understand them either, so that pissed me off too. It's a good thing I'm not driving. The only thing that sucks is, I'll have to be the navigator, and I suck at that too.
Vallerie's 1 year check up is today. She will get 4 shots I think. Poor little thing. She normally tolerates them pretty well, so I hope that stays true this time.

Thursday the 23rd
12:29 PM
Yesterday after work we didn't really do anything. We watched the movie "Hereafter" with Matt Damon. It was... boring. It felt like it was 6 hours long, but it was only 2. Very unexciting. After that we went to bed...
Today has been ok. Nothing really going on. I get to leave work early today because I got all my hours in.
Don't know what's on the agenda tonight. Might make some cards. Might not. Depends how I feel after I get home.

Wednesday I think...
7:54 AM
Sleepy today.
Yesterday after work, I came home and found Vallerie in the tub. Eddie was spraying her with the shower head. She loved it. She was splashing around screeching, and having a great time.
After she was done, we went into town and bought a few things at Meijer. One of the things was a frog thing that goes over the bathtub faucet. When Vallerie was is the bath, she likes to go next to the faucet, and Eddie and I are scared she'll bonk her head or scrape herself on it.
We had steak and mac n cheese for dinner. The mac wasn't that good. The steak was.
It stormed a little bit, but there was mega rain and wind. It didn't last too long though.
That's all I know for now. Gonna walk down to the gas station and get a snacky snack snack.

Nahlah Update
9:03 PM
Just got an email from Nahlah's new owners. They said:
Hi she is doing just fine .The kids had her out chasing the frisbee Sun and she was tired that night. She likes Kenny and he loves her.So far so good
Thank you so much for her. Hope she likes us ( He He )
Eddie and I both feel so much better knowing they are enjoying her, and she is enjoying them. I returned their email and asked them to check in every once and a while. I think we picked the perfect home for her. So happy, but also sad. I wish we could have been the perfect home. Oh well.

Another Dang Tuesday
9:26 AM
Yesterday was a long day. I had to work until 5pm. I know that's not technically "late", but it just felt so long.
After I got home I hung out with Vallerie and washed some dishes. I didn't get much time with her until she went to bed.
After she was asleep I went outside and noticed that we have freakin blackberry bushes in our yard! I picked all the good ones and washed them off. They were delicious. Eddie told me that he sprayed that plant with roundup (after I ate them) I didn't care though. I'm not dead yet, so it's all good. I might go out again this afternoon to see if there's some I missed.
Eddie was dead tired yesterday and he went to bed at like 8PM. I didn't want to go to bed, so I went upstairs and made a few cards. I send 2 to my sister because she needed one for a friend who's having a baby. I made 3 of the same card, but one had different flowers. I think they turned out really cute.
After that I watched a little tv and then went to bed. I started to get the garbage ready for today, but I was too loud and briefly woke up Vallerie. Oops. Eddie ended up taking care of the rest this morning.
Eddie tried calling the people who took the dog, but they didn't answer. He said he would call again today, and if they didn't answer then we would shoot them an email. I sure hope they are liking her. She's a good dog.
TheGolf outing "Summer Sales Meeting" is this Friday. We haven't done that in a couple years, so it'll be nice. I'm not too keen on golf, but it beats being in the office. I am on a team with a seed advisor and the best golfer in the company, so I have a feeling we'll win some prizes. I am also on a team with a guy from Monsanto. That will not be awesome. Not that I don't like the guy, I just would prefer someone else I know. I hope I don't say anything stupid... better just keep my mouth shut.
Dalmo (the cat) has been coming around more. I think he knows that the dog is gone and he can come and go as he pleases now. The baby got a hold of him good yesterday. If I wasn't there to pull her tiny grip off of him, he would have lost a lot of fur. He ran away after that.
I almost forgot! Vallerie (the little stinker) has learned how to unlock the cell phone. Yesterday she got a hold of the phone and got on myspace with it. We kept getting texts from them afterwards. Hopefully that's over. She also texted and called a couple people. She will flip the phone over and over until her little fingers push just the right buttons. This all happened while I was at work, so Eddie gave her the phone after I got home to show me he wasn't lying. It was actually pretty funny. I had to take it away a few times so she wouldn't call anyone. We have the Delphi Police Dept on our phone (Eddie put it on there don't know why) and I really hope she doesn't call them.
Been thinking about what to make on my knifty knitter. I have some purple yarn so I might make another baby blanket. Don't know what I'll do with it though. I do however know what I want for my birthday. It's a 38" knitting board. It's about $60. If I get some cash moneys I'll buy it. I can only find it online though. It would be so cool to make big blankets! I did make Eddie a scarf for Father's day. It's way too short though. I ran out of yarn. I might make another one with the same yarn, and try and hook them together. I will have to look that up online.
That's all I can think of... We leave in a week and a day for vacation. YAY!

The
Dalmo (the cat) has been coming around more.

What a Weekend Wow
This weekend was a little sad and a little happy.
Saturday we gave Nahlah away to a nice family. They are an older couple who live on a farm. They have 10 grand kids and 4 great grand kids. So, she'll have room to run, and kids to play with. They seemed really nice, and I guess I am happy that she will get outside and get attention. I am a little sad though. I don't want her to feel abandoned by us. I just hope she is happy. That's the only thing that gives me any peace. Eddie is going to call sometime this week and make sure everything is going ok.
Sunday Eddie's nephew had his 1st birthday party. It was fun. He destroyed the little cake they bought him. He was so messy by the time he was done. Vallerie got in on the action a little bit. She didn't get nearly as messy, and most of hers came from her other cousin putting icing on her.
Cleaned out the bedroom closet. It was pretty messy. Most of it was just stuff that was out of place. I folded a few blankets, and put the misc. computer stuff in the corner. There were a lot of clothes in there that were just scattered about, so I put them in baskets. Eddie is going to go through 1 basket that I put his clothes in that I didn't know if he wanted anymore. The other baskets I will need to wash. I thought I had the laundry tackled, but I guess not.
Other than that we didn't do too much.
It's storming today, and raining terribly hard. Eddie said that it was raining so hard he couldn't see the shed in the back yard, and the power flickered a bit. As far as I know there's still power at the house. I hope it stays on.
We leave for vacation in a week and a half. I'm getting excited. Still need to get a couple shirts and a swimsuit. Ugh. I really have been putting that off.

Friday Finally
8:17 AM
Been a long week. I'm glad it's Friday.
Yesterday after work we went into town and bought Vallerie some birthday stuff and food. Eddie got her this little submarine thing that goes in the tub and shoots water out the top. We got her a little thing that has loopy metal that beads are on, so you push the beads on the metal... Hard to explain, but they are in doctors/dentist offices for the little kids to play with. I absolutely LOVED them when I was a kid.
I'll probably go out and get her something from me today. Eddie dropped me off at work, so I'll use one of the company cars to run over to Walmart. I also need to get Eddie's Father's Day present. No clue what it'll be.
Eddie wasn't feeling well last night after dinner, so we tried to watch the new Gulliver's Travels, but he fell asleep. So once I saw he was asleep, I decided I would go to sleep too. Neither of us finished it. I think he tried to watch some more of it this morning, but I don't know how far he got. We'll probably watch the rest this weekend.
Vallerie is going to go to the Indy Zoo today with her Aunt. (Supposed to go last week but it rained) Eddie didn't know if he would go too. I think he should. It would be fun! I sure wish I could go. Oh well. I hope to get some pictures. This will be her 1st time at the zoo. I'm excited for her (even though she won't remember it)
My hands are kinda sticky. They are cleaning the carpets at work tomorrow, so we all have to pick up the stuff off the floor under our desks. My boss is on vacation, so I got his stuff off the floor. One of his things was a case of soda, that apparently had one leak out a long time ago, so there was syrupy goo on the whole underside of the box. I didn't realize it until after I put it on his desk. (Luckily I didn't set it on anything important) So, I had to lift the gooey box up, clean off the goo on the desk, and re-set it down. If I was a nicer person, I would have cleaned off the box, but I didn't. I put a bunch of tissues under it so it wouldn't get on the desk again. It was gross.
So I said that Eddie took me to work today, and he was sweet enough to stop by BK and get me some breakfast. It was yummy. He's very sweet.
That's all for now.
8:44AM
Kinda MAD. Went to check the ad I put in the paper for Nahlah. They cut it down SO bad. Here's what they have: Australian cattle dog mix: 5yrs. old, friendly, good w/kids. Needs exercise. 765-564-5290
That just sounds horrible. Needs exercise?? WTF Yes I said that, but I also said she needs attention and a forever home... I had such better info on there! I made another ad, hopefully they leave it the F ALONE!
ARG!
Just found out Eddie IS going to the zoo today. I am oh so jealous. I asked him to take a million pics. I hope he has a good time.
1:11PM
Eddie's done at the zoo, they are leaving now. He said that it was exhausting, and he wouldn't go without me next time. Yay! He said he did have fun, which is good. Hopefully after I get home he can relax a little.
Earlier the day was going by fast, but the last 2 hours have dragged so bad. I have 3 more to go too. Hopefully they zoom. I doubt they will. I am looking forward to the weekend. Even though we have a lot to do on Sunday. Probably Saturday too. I don't really know what the future holds. I DO know that I HAVE to get this baby blanket done today or tomorrow.

Thinking Thursday
8:54 AM
Vallerie is feeling better. Don't know why she was so sick the other night, but she seems to be fine now. She didn't eat much yesterday, but today she's eating like normal (so far) I'd put in a picture of her, but Eddie asked me not to put any more of her on the blog. I'm not sure why.
Eddie and I came to the decision that we are going to give our dog Nahlah away. We just don't give her the attention and exercise she needs to be happy. It's sad, but I really think she'll be better off with a family who can give her what she needs. I put an ad in the paper, and a coworker of mine is going to put a flier up at her hubby's work. I really hope we can find a good home for her.
I worked a little on the other baby blanket I am making. It needs to be done by this weekend, so maybe I will finish it tonight. It looks awesome. I will probably buy some more yarn and make another one, but for Vallerie. If I can figure out how to make a bigger one (different stitching) I'll make an afghan for home.
Getting a new netflix movie today. It should be good.
Speaking of Nahlah, she was barking at 4am this morning. She did that on and off for about an hour, until the baby woke up. Grr. So, needless to say I have been up since 4am. Not fun.

Wednesday blah blah blah
8:30 AM
Yesterday Eddie's sister took Vallerie for a couple hours, so when I got home we went to pick her up. We hung out at their house for a while, then decided to go out to eat. We went to Texas Road House.
The disaster started shortly after appetizers arrived. Vallerie decided she was going to projective vomit all over the table. Luckily she was on the end and it did not get in any ones food. Eddie didn't take it so well, and ran to the bathroom to puke. After our food arrived all was well for a while. We ate, Eddie picked at his, still feeling queasy. After it was all boxed up and ready to go home, Eddie took Vallerie out of her highchair and set her in front of him. Bad idea. She puked again, this time ALL over Eddie and my purse. Thankfully, Eddie didn't throw up again, he calmly took the baby and went to the car. He had a different shirt, so he put that on and I put all the puke clothes in the trunk.
When we got home, we tried to give Vallerie some food but she didn't want any. So I gave her a bath and put her to bed. Shortly after being in bed, she puked again. I cleaned that up and then put her back to bed. She was fine the rest of the night.
I washed all the puked on stuff, and went to bed myself. (No time for crafting I'm afraid) I was worried she would be up all night, so I decided just to go to bed in case she was.
This morning, we gave her a bottle with some pedialite to help with dehydration from vomiting, and she puked that up. Not a terrible amount, but enough to be really gross to clean up. Other than the puking, she's acting pretty normal. I hope Eddie doesn't have too terrible of a day. I told him to call me if he wanted to take her to the doc.
We were going to take back the car seat we have for Vallerie after she turns 1, but found out that we have had it too long, and they wont take it back. So, we're keeping the one we have. (We could have sold it to Once Upon a Child, but they only wanted to give us $30. It's new and was originally 3 times that amount) It's nice, but it's front facing only, and we were hoping for a rear facing one. We kept it in Eddie's sister's van for now because of the whole dinner incident. We'll pick it up another time. This weekend maybe.
That's my exciting news... Storming today. I hope the day goes by fast. Looking forward to go home and see the fam. Plus, if I can squeeze in a nap that would be super awesome.
Oh, and Eddie killed a bird yesterday. I was sad.

Long Tuesday
12:38PM
Today has been LONG! Ugh.
Yesterday after I came home I totally cleaned the dining room. I sorted through clothes and threw out ones I didn't want (some of Eddies too YAY!) I boxed up all Vallerie's outgrown clothes, and cleaned off the table. It looks great, and with the little extra room, Vallerie can run around in her walker (or into Eddie and me) more freely.
I also finished watching the movie "The Tourist" It was ok, Eddie gave away the ending (he decided to finish it without me) So the whole movie I was waiting for the end. While I watched it, I continued on the next baby blanket I am making. It's really cool. The yarn is fluffy, and it has turquoise, blue, and brown colors. I really like it. I should be able to finish it tonight if I get a couple hours to work on it.
I might go home and try and clean another room tonight. It's either going to be the bedroom, or the kitchen. The kitchen isn't that messy, there's a few dishes to do, counters wiped off, and the floor needs swept.
The bedroom however. Wow. That would involve cleaning out a closet. Eddie's closet... the messiest one in the house. Most of the stuff in there isn't even clothes. It's mostly blankets and stuff. I just don't know where else to put it. Maybe if I just organized it better it could work.
It's been a slow day. I don't know why really, I mean I'm not looking forward to anything. Don't know whats for dinner. Maybe left over pizza, even though that's what I has last night. We don't really have much else in the house. We would have to go buy something and cook it (ick and ick)

Weekend Stuff and Mondat Too
8:19AM
Over the weekend Eddie and I went shopping for Vacation stuff. We bought some clothes for Vallerie, Eddie got some shorts, and I got some yarn for a blanket I'm going to make.
We looked at dog houses, and didn't see one we really liked for the price. I figure we'll go out again this week sometime.
Over all it was a pretty good weekend. I finished Vallerie's baby blanket. It's about 20" by 26", and it's really the perfect size for her. It's really soft too.
I am on the last season of Ghost Whisper. Kind of glad it's coming to an end. It's gotten really dumb. I don't know what I will watch after I finish it.
I am sleepy today. I stayed up too late last night. I think I will try and go to bed a little earlier today.
Not a lot to say really. I hope this week goes by fast. If today is any indication, it wont...

Friday Dang
7:49AM
Vallerie was supposed to go to the Indianapolis Zoo with her Aunt and cousins, but it has been raining cats and dogs all night and morning. Eddie was looking forward to a real day off. I feel bad that he doesn't get it now. I guess the good thing is that I get to leave around 1PM today.
Yesterday I did some dishes, a load of laundry, and gave the baby a bath. Doesn't seem like a lot written down, but it felt like a full days work!
Eddie and I watched part of "The Tourist" I was falling asleep and Eddie thought it was boring I think, so we stopped it. I ended up going to sleep and Eddie stayed up. I don't know what he did. TV maybe?
Like I said before it's been raining and storming all night. Vallerie woke up at 5AM (rather than her normal 6AM) I fed her and then put her back to bed. She slept until about 6:20 when I woke her up to get her ready for her Zoo trip that didn't happen.

Thursday smells like worms
9:11 AM
It smells like worms today. It stormed last night. Maybe the wormies liked it??
Eddie and I went out to eat at Casadores restaurant in Monticello last night. I had a gift card, and we finally used it. I have been bugging him to go for months. It wasn't really good. I mean it wasn't horrible, but I don't think we would go back unless we got another gift card. We only ended up spending about $8 of our own money. Vallerie had french fries.
After we got home we watched a little TV in bed and then fell asleep. Eddie woke me up at 11PM and I stayed up for about an hour then went back to sleep.
Today has been an OK day so far. Nothing exciting going on. It's cold in here today. I have a sweat shirt and my heater on. It's a little hot outside though.
Looks pretty crummy out today, no rain, but it looks like it wants to. I haven't checked the weather to see what it's supposed to do.

Wednesday Whatevs
7:37 AM
Yesterday was a little crazy. Work stuff. Confidential... After I un-freaked out, Eddie and I went in to town to drop off a few things to his sisters.
We came home and Eddie played his video game and I put a few new things on my etsy shop. I also continued Vallerie's baby blanket.
I have so far put 2 hours into it, and haven't gotten very far. I have a feeling this is going to be a long process. It doesn't matter though because it's fun, and it's for my baby. If I ever do decide to make/sell these the price would have to be through the roof! HAHA! I think I need to just concentrate on what I am doing now, and then later if I decide to make something I can see whether I want to sell it.
Had a cheese sandwich for breakfast. I think it made me sick... I don't think I tolerate dairy well in the morning. Good thing I have Fruit Loops!
I have a headache today. I popped some pills, so hopefully it goes away soon.
We have a meeting this morning to talk about the thing at work. I really would prefer not to talk or think about it anymore. Oh well. I'm sure it will make my headache all better (sarcasm).
1:28 PM
Time to go home yet? No? Damn.

Tuesday Tick Tock
10:16 AM
Yesterday I got my new Knifty Knitter! I started on Vallerie's baby blanket. I only got a little bit done, maybe two inches, but it was fun. I hope it doesn't take me forever to get it done.
I made some silly little recipe cards that I am going to put online. They'll only be a couple bucks. I am fortunate enough to be able to use some things at work that make crafting easier. (laminater, book binder thingy)
Eddie and I had spaghetti for dinner. It was good. We'll probably have that for left overs tonight too. Yum Yum.
Tonight I will probably work on Vallerie's blanket some more. Maybe take a few pics of the recipe cards, and maybe put some more stuff on etsy. I probably wont get around to it though.
It's pretty hot out today. Hot and muggy. I'm glad we have AC!

Monday Ick
8:18 AM
It's Monday. I really wish it wasn't.
I think I forgot to blog on Friday... oopsie doodle.
Lets see if I can remember what we did over the weekend...
Friday we went to Walmart and bought some stuff we needed. We also got the oil changed.
Saturday we went to Target to check out toddler seats. We have one, but I think we need a rear facing one, so we'll probably take the one we have back, and swap it for another one. We also went to Once Upon a Child and traded in Vallerie's baby swing. We ended up trading it for 3 pairs of pants, 1 pair of shorts, 1 skirt, 4 onesies, 3 tank tops, and 3 t-shirts. I think it was a pretty good trade.
By the time we got home Saturday our power was out. There was a big storm that came through. We're still without cable, but at least we have power. We have been watching netflix mostly anyway, so it doesn't really bother us yet. Although, there were a couple shows that were supposed to record last night on tivo... I'm still not sure if the cable came on and then went out again, or if it never came on at all. My aunt who lives a couple houses down said that hers came on around 12pm yesterday. I can't remember if we checked or not when we got home.
Sunday we went over to Eddie's sisters house. We had lunch and watched "The Mechanic" It was an ok movie. We watched the babies play. It was fun.
Vallerie woke up like 5 times last night. She went to bed shortly after she woke up, but it woke Eddie and me up too, so I think we're both a little tired today. Well, I know I am.

Thursday Barf!
1:44PM
Don't feel so hot today. I didn't feel so good last night after I went to bed either. I probably shouldn't have eaten as much as I did today. (Company lunch again... fried chicken)
Came home yesterday and went all over town trying to find the knitting loom I wanted (again!) no where had it. I was very disappointed. I did end up ordering it online for $12 which isn't bad considering it retails for $10. Once I get it (probably about the time I go on vacation) I will return the one I have. I did find a big ol' ball of yarn that was originally $18 on sale for $6 so I had to snatch it up. That's enough spending $$ for me though.
After I got home, I fed Vallerie and put her to bed. Eddie was asleep when I got home, and he slept until about 11PM, then came into the bedroom and watched TV for a bit. I don't know what time he ended up sleeping again. He didn't feel good last night either. It was weird though because neither one of us ate the same thing yesterday.
I started a new scarf. This one is purple and cream. I have been searching the internet like crazy trying to find new patterns that have pictures. So far I have only found 3. I wish I could read the other patterns. I just don't understand them. Oh well no biggie. Once I get my longer loom Vallerie is gonna have an awesome pink fluffy blanket.
Cold in the office today. I have on a sweatshirt, and my heater. It's 90 friggin degrees outside! These people in here are crazy.
I am missing my family today. I just want to go home and snuggle up with Eddie. Maybe I will if he plays one of his games tonight. That would be nice. Or maybe we'll watch some of our tivo shows that we haven't gotten to. I hope Vallerie isn't being a stinker. Lately she has been flipping over on her changing table. It irritates the hell out of me. I just keep flipping her back over until I can finally get her diaper or clothes on. I don't know why she started hating it so much.
I am pretty sleepy. I'll probably go to bed early tonight if I'm lucky. I guess it depends on how caught up in knitting I am.

Wednesday Blah
2:00PM
It's Wednesday... hump day as some might say.
Yesterday after work Eddie played a game on xbox and I hung out with Vallerie. By 6pm she was a fussy little beast. Nothing I did was right, but Eddie came in and saved the day (like normal)
Eddie and I had lasagna for dinner (from a box) We got our newest Netflix movie. I got it for Eddie because I knew he wanted to see it. It was called Monster's VS Aliens B.O.B's Big Break. Little did we know that it was only 13 minutes long. Yes that's right 13 minutes. Apparently it came with the movie Monsters VS Aliens as a bonus disc, so it was intended to be a short little show. We were disappointed that it was so short (Eddie more than me) So, I mailed it back today. Not sure what we'll get next, but as long as it's longer than 13 minutes I'll be happy.
Thought about putting some more stuff on Etsy tonight. I have some little monster things I could pop on there. I'm sad no one has bought anything recently. Not to mention the last person that bought something was unhappy with it. She never returned it though. Maybe she decided she liked it after all.
Not feeling too happy today. I don't know why. Nothing has gone wrong, I'm just in kind of a downer mood. I didn't sleep well last night so maybe that's why.
Hoping to start a new thing on my knifty knitter tonight. Might go in to town and see if Kmart has the long one I want. If they do I will return the one I have and get the longer one. Not sure if I want to go in to town, but we need dog and baby food, so I'll probably have to go no matter what. I would just like to go home and sleep. But that just means I would have to get up and do everything all over again sooner. Sigh.
