This weekend was fun. Kind of busy, but kind of laid back.
Friday after work we didn't do much. Eddie and Vallerie played in the snow while I was working. I came downstairs and snapped a few pics on a break. They had fun.
Saturday I had a get together at a co-workers house. It was our Christmas party for the customer service girls. We ate spaghetti and opened presents. It was fun.
Saturday afternoon/evening Eddie's brother, brother's girlfriend, sister, sisters husband, and mom came over. We had pizza and played with the Xbox kinects. We were having one last hoorah before Eddie's brother went back to Texas. It was a pretty good time.
Sunday we went into town and got some stuff at Michael's. We were going to do a little more shopping at Walmart, but Vallerie was tired (we went out a little late) so we got some food and came home.
Monday I had the day off for Martin Luther King Day. We didn't do much of anything. It was pretty much a lazy day, which I didn't mind. I made a house on the sims and then uploaded it online so other people could download it. I think 14 people downloaded it the last time I checked. I also started a blog to showcase the houses I make on the sims. The layout on the sims website for showing pictures of what you can download is really limited, and I wanted people to get a better view of what they were getting. Last night Eddie made beef stew. It was awesome. I guess we haven't had beef stew in a while. Vallerie has never had it and she is 18mo old, so it's been a while. We probably had it when she was too young to eat real food, but still, that's been a while. She ate most of what we gave her, but like normal started throwing it on the floor when she was full.
Today at work we are having some people come in from one of the companies we work for. I don't quite know what the agenda is, but we may have food. I hope so. I am hungry, and I forgot to pack up some of Eddie's delicious beef stew for lunch.
I have some paperwork to do. I didn't make it into the office last week, so things just kind of piled up. That's ok though. It will keep me busy and hopefully make the day go by fast.
