Yesterday after work I watched some Dr Who, folded some laundry with Vallerie and then we had dinner. Eddie cooked burgers and they were yummy.
After Vallerie went to bed I watched a couple more episodes of Dr. Who and then Eddie and I watched The Social Network. I fell asleep. Oops.
I have been using this website called pintrest. It's really cool. It's an online bulletin board pretty much. So when you come across something cool online you can "pin" it to your page and go back and see it later. I have pinned some books and a couple craft things so far. You can also see what other people have pinned, so you can get even more cool ideas.
That's really all I have going on at the moment... more later maybe.

I saw on walmart.com that they had a bundle deal on cricut lite cartridges! You can get 2 for $60 (great deal) I am super happy because the 2 cartridges I want are listed for the bundle! They are both great for the baby shower invitations I am going to make for Eddie's sister, so once our tax refund comes (should be in a week or two) I am going to take advantage of the deal. Hopefully it is still going on by then. The 2 cartridges I want are "B is for Boy" and "Sugar and Spice". Can not wait to get them they have such cute images!

Monday January 30th
Friday after work Eddie and I went over to his sisters so Eddie could help move their new couch in. It's really pretty! They also found out that they are having a boy. Eddie and I were a little sad because we kind of wanted another girl close to Vallerie's age, but that's ok. After that we went home. Vallerie decided it would be super fun to play in the mud before we left, so she was in no condition to go inside anywhere else.
Saturday I got my tax returns in the mail, so I did my taxes online and should get my refund in about 2 weeks. Vallerie and I went to Hobby Lobby and I got some floral wire and floral tape. Vallerie had a blast going up and down the floral isle sticking her hands out trying to grab all the pretty fake flowers. She didn't like waiting in line though and got a little fussy. Then we went to Walmart and got some food and misc stuff.
Sunday we all stayed home and hung out. I cleaned our bedroom to make it more kid friendly. After Vallerie's 2nd nap Eddie and I played some video games together. We opened up our bedroom so Vallerie could go into both rooms. It worked ok for a little while, but then Vallerie started getting into to many things so we closed it off again. After she went to bed we played more of our game and then went to bed.
Sometime during the weekend Vallerie thought it would be fun to put her cheese goldfish down the vent. There are about a handful in there. I was going to try and get them out yesterday but I forgot. I guess I will have to do that today after work. I think there's also a baby spoon down there.
The last couple days Vallerie has been insistent in taking her pink dog that she sleeps on with her when we get her up. I think this is her "blankey". It's pretty cute actually.
I tried making the stem for my new flowers. I think it worked out pretty well. Don't know what I will do with them, but they're fun to make so I don't really care.
I think that's all that's been going on. If I remember anything else I will blog it.

Friday January 27th
Yesterday after work I did some dishes and then changed the kitty litter. Nothing too terribly exciting. Then I watched some tv and went to bed.
Hoping to go to Hobby Lobby this weekend to get some floral tape and stem supplies. I would like to try and make my little paper roses into actual flowers. I still haven't tried the ball ornament with them yet, but I will.
Eddie is going to help his sister move their new couch today. I think Vallerie and I will stay home. I might try and do some cleaning while he is gone. I think that would make him happy. It all depends on if Vallerie will let me. I guess I will have to wait and see how she is acting today. She was ok for me this morning, but that doesn't really mean much.
I'm a little sleepy today. I must have slept wrong because when I move my neck to the left it hurts. I am hoping to get a nap in sometime this weekend. That would be awesome! I could sure use one right about now.

Thursday January 26th
Last night after work I watched a couple episodes of Dr. Who (the new ones not the ones from the 60's) then Eddie and I watched the movie Bad Teacher with Cameron Diaz. I thought it was ok, Eddie didn't like it.
Today I am working late again from home. Vallerie has been an ok kid today. A little fussy, but not terrible I don't think.
Don't know what tonight's dinner plans are. Probably nothing special.
So far I have 12 yellow roses and 4 red roses made. I will spray them with shiny stuff and then try and glue them together. I might wear gloves when I spray them. The stuff gets my hands all gunky. I think I will do that this weekend.

Wednesday January 25th
As I was driving home yesterday I noticed that our road was closed. There were trucks and stuff in the road, so I went around the other side, and there was a sign that said the road was closed, but I went ahead and drove around it since there was nothing else blocking the path to my driveway. After I got inside Vallerie was eating a yummy snack of pickles and tuna. (eww) I had gotten some of the stinky pickle tuna juice on my hands, so I went to wash them. We had no water. Eddie called the water people and they said that it was off because of whatever they were doing to close our road. When the water came back on, about 40 min later, I decided to do some laundry. When I turned on the washer DIRTY water started coming out. It was gross. It turned into clean water quickly though, but then I had to run around and turn on all the faucets to get the nasty stuff out. Our toilet was totally disgusting. (yes I cleaned it!)
After that fiasco, Eddie and I watched a little TV, than Vallerie went down for a nap. I went upstairs and started thinking of ideas for baby shower invitations. I started to make a couple and then Vallerie woke up, so I went back downstairs and we played for a while. Then Eddie moved the couch and we played some kinects on the xbox.
After that we ate dinner and watched a little TV and then went to bed.
My muscles are sore today from the damn kinects. Nothing too terrible, I just don't use those muscles, so it's a little weird.
Vallerie has been good again today. She's eating good and not throwing her food around which I like very much. I have to go to the store and get juice and milk later today though. Sometimes I hate leaving the house even if it's just to go up the street.
I have been waiting for my tax forms to come to me. I do them online and get a direct deposit for the refunds (hoping I get one this year) and they come in about 2 weeks. We're going to probably get a new couch and send some to my mom for vacation.
Might get a new netflix movie in the mail today. I hope we do! That's all for now.
5:00 PM
Here's a pic of the origami floers I have started making. Hoping to glue them into a ball ornament. We'll see how it works out.

Tuesday January 24th
Yesterday after work Eddie and I played some more Lego Harry Potter. Then we watched the 2nd Harry Potter movie. I fell asleep shortly after it started.
Vallerie was really good yesterday. Eddie said that she was a little angel all day, and I didn't hear her fuss once while I was working upstairs. I am hoping that today goes as smoothly as that.
One of my friends on Facebook has been posting links about how Monsanto's GE corn and alfalfa is bad for you and all that jazz. I asked her why she has such a problem with it, but she hasn't written me back. My guess is that she is just uneducated on the subject. Not that I am an expert, but I know more about it than a lot of people. I read one of the articles she posted about GE corn not yielding better than regular corn, and that is just completely untrue. Sigh... This is a war no one will ever win. I probably should have just kept my mouth shut and let her post, but it kinda irritates me when people don't know the facts and just believe blindly in something. That's why I don't get into politics. I don't know enough about anything to get involved.
Had a coffee energy drink today, so I am kind of amped up. I have a meeting with the other Customer Service girls today. Maybe we will get a new calling project to work on. Hopefully not collections. I really dislike collection calls.
12:54 PM
So my "sister in law" is having a baby shower sometime in the future, and I offered to make her invitations and thank you cards. I don't know if she will take me up on the offer, but we will see. It will at least give me something to play around with. I think I am back in card mode.
Found out we are not calling for collections. We're still calling for sales. That's good I guess.

Monday January 23rd
Saturday night Eddie and I watched the A-Team movie. I fell asleep 1/2 way through. Eddie finished it and thought it was kinda stupid.
Sunday Eddie taught Vallerie how to show off the food in her mouth... She didn't eat much after that and just wanted to open her mouth and show us the food on her tongue. It was pretty cute.
Eddie and I played some Lego Harry Potter. It was fun. Then that night we watched the 1st Harry Potter movie. We had a bet on if a certain part was in the 1st movie. I lost. Oh well. I should have known better than to bet the movie master.
Today I started making origami flowers. I retried the lotus, and put a spin on it, so now they look more like roses. They are very pretty. I am going to try and glue them together into a ball, and make ornaments with them. If that doesn't work then I don't know what I will do with them, but I really like how they are turning out. I will put pictures up some other time.
Don't know what tonight's plans are. Eddie went to the grocery and bought some corn beef hash for him and Vallerie to eat for dinner. I will not be eating that.

Saturday January 21st
Yesterday after work after Vallerie was in bed I watched some Jersey Shore and then Eddie and I watched Jackass 3.5. I think I fell asleep before it was over. It was kinda funny, but they do some really stupid stuff.
Vallerie is being a little butthead today. She didn't want to play or watch her favorite cartoons, then she didn't want to eat breakfast. Now she is fussing still. I think Eddie is going to put her for an early nap. Maybe that will help her chill out. I think it's going to be one of those days...

Friday January 20th
It's COLD today. Only about 9 degrees outside. Brrr.
Yesterday after work Eddie and I watched some tv and went to bed. Pretty boring night, but I got off work at 9pm, so it was bound to be uninteresting.
Today is the chili cook off at work, so I will get some good food to warm me up. I just hope there's not any weird chili. I like normal chili.
I have to go to the grocery store today before I come home. I will probably take my lunch break after lunch (hehe) and head over and get some food. I really don't want to go outside in the cold, but I suppose food is an important reason to be out and about.
I tried finding another craft project yesterday, but had no luck. I really want to make something, but I have no clue what I want to do, so it's hard finding ideas. A lot of the crafts I look for end up being for kids, and that's not really what I want to make. I'm sure I will find something soon.
A co worker of mine (who always loans me books) bought me a book I have been wanting. She got me started on the series, and this was the last book in it. She's so sweet. I know what I will be doing this weekend. Reading!
3:35PM
Just got back from the store. It's snowing again, so it's slippery. I bought some goodies for Vallerie and a little food for us. I still have 2 1/2 hours of work.
As for my crafting, I am thinking of trying the origami lotus again. I tried it the other day, but I was too rough and it ripped when I was making it, so I will try again and be more gentle. I tried to make an origami rose because they are absolutely gorgeous, but it is too difficult for me.

Thursday January 19th
Yesterday after work Eddie and I watched Unstoppable on HBO. It was an ok movie. After that we went to bed.
Vallerie had her 18 month check up today. Everything is looking good. She only got 1 shot. I have to say she really doesn't like being poked on. She got mad when they checked her breathing and her ears. Poor little thing. She also didn't like the shot, but that's normal. Luckily she doesn't need any more shots until she goes to pre-school, unless we want to give her the flu shot before then.
Cool story: As we were wrapping up the appointment, Vallerie was looking at a bulletin board and said "what's that" (like she has been doing) and the doc got a surprised look on her face and said that normally kids don't put words together like that until around 2yrs. So that made me and Eddie happy.
It snowed today. Quite a bit actually. I think we got somewhere around 3-4 inches. It's stopped now, but it was coming on pretty heavy earlier today. I think we will go out and play this weekend if it sticks around.
I tried to make clay buttons, but couldn't get the hang of it, so I will have to find another project to try. I might just go back to making ornaments. Who knows. If anyone out there has any ideas let me know...

Wednesday January 18th
Yesterday after I got home I watched some tv with Vallerie until it was her bed time. Then Eddie played a little of a demo to a video game he has been waiting on to come out. I played some pogo.com.
After that we watched Planet of the Apes: Rise of the Apes. It was excellent. Probably one of the best movies I have seen in a long while. Eddie thought it was really good too.
Today I am working late. Vallerie was a little angel this morning. She had a ton of food for lunch so I gave her some pudding as a reward. She was so cute eating it. I got some funny pictures of her being a goof.
Looking for a new craft project to try. I like making ornaments, but I have 11 made that I probably won't do anything with, and I figured I should find something else to do.

Tuesday January 17th
This weekend was fun. Kind of busy, but kind of laid back.
Friday after work we didn't do much. Eddie and Vallerie played in the snow while I was working. I came downstairs and snapped a few pics on a break. They had fun.
Saturday I had a get together at a co-workers house. It was our Christmas party for the customer service girls. We ate spaghetti and opened presents. It was fun.
Saturday afternoon/evening Eddie's brother, brother's girlfriend, sister, sisters husband, and mom came over. We had pizza and played with the Xbox kinects. We were having one last hoorah before Eddie's brother went back to Texas. It was a pretty good time.
Sunday we went into town and got some stuff at Michael's. We were going to do a little more shopping at Walmart, but Vallerie was tired (we went out a little late) so we got some food and came home.
Monday I had the day off for Martin Luther King Day. We didn't do much of anything. It was pretty much a lazy day, which I didn't mind. I made a house on the sims and then uploaded it online so other people could download it. I think 14 people downloaded it the last time I checked. I also started a blog to showcase the houses I make on the sims. The layout on the sims website for showing pictures of what you can download is really limited, and I wanted people to get a better view of what they were getting. Here's the link: http://mysims3downloads-glueybluey.blogspot.com/
Last night Eddie made beef stew. It was awesome. I guess we haven't had beef stew in a while. Vallerie has never had it and she is 18mo old, so it's been a while. We probably had it when she was too young to eat real food, but still, that's been a while. She ate most of what we gave her, but like normal started throwing it on the floor when she was full.
Today at work we are having some people come in from one of the companies we work for. I don't quite know what the agenda is, but we may have food. I hope so. I am hungry, and I forgot to pack up some of Eddie's delicious beef stew for lunch.
I have some paperwork to do. I didn't make it into the office last week, so things just kind of piled up. That's ok though. It will keep me busy and hopefully make the day go by fast.

Friday January 13th Ahhh!
I didn't realize it was Friday the 13th until now! Yikes!
Yesterday while I was working Eddie's brother and his girlfriend came over for several hours. I think they had a good time. I really don't know. They leave to go back to Texas on Sunday, so I am glad Eddie got some time to spend with his brother.
After work I had spaghetti for dinner. Eddie ate his before I got off of work. I surfed the internet for a while and then went to bed. I saw a cool article about "them" finding the worlds smallest frog. It was super cute! It's about 1/3 the size of a dime. I also read some funny stuff on the Weekly World News website. They had this one article that said a study showed that eating more food made you gain more weight. Hehehe. It's a joke website, they used to have a paper, but they stopped printing it several years ago.
This morning I woke up to about 3-4" of snow. Nothing major, but pretty nice considering it is the middle of January and we haven't gotten a decent amount of snow before today.
I was supposed to work in the office, but I decided to stay home. Still have to call my boss and make sure that's ok. I don't see why he would care. But, if he does then I will load up the comp and head into the office. No big deal.
I think we might head into town this weekend. Eddie wanted to get some art supplies, and we need a few groceries.
Tomorrow is the Customer Service girls Christmas get together. We were going to meet up before Christmas, but there was no good time for all of us, so we had to wait until now. I still have to get my present for the person I picked. I will have to do that today I guess, since the party is at 12:30 tomorrow. Maybe I will have time before, although I can't really pick out a good present in a small amount of time, and I have no clue what I am going to get her.
I did however make scarves and ornaments for all of them (there's only 4 of them) so that will be fun giving those out.
That's about all I know for now...

Thursday January 12th
Yesterday was not a good baby day. Vallerie (as I mentioned yesterday) was not a happy camper. She was crying and fussy from the time she got up from her nap (around 3) until about 6pm. I went downstairs and took my lunch break early so I could try and rescue Eddie. I put her to bed about 30 min early.
She decided to wake up a little, at 4:30 this morning, so I was a concerned that we'd have another one of those days, but she's been great today. I guess she just wasn't having a good day yesterday.
After Vallerie went to bed and I got off of work last night Eddie and I watched the end of Date Night on tv and then went to bed.
They were saying it was supposed to snow like 5 inches today. So far I haven't seen much. It is snowing now, but it's not heavy, so I don't know if we will get all that they are saying or not. I would sure like it though. We haven't had a real snow this winter. Heck it's been almost 60 degrees for the last 2 weeks! Actually when I was coming home from my doc appt the other day I saw a guy on his motorcycle and I thought to myself "I wonder how many times that guy has been able to ride his motorcycle, in Indiana, in January"
Not much else going on today. I think we're having spaghetti for dinner. It sounds good. I'm hungry!

Wednesday January 11th
It's Wednesday. I didn't blog yesterday. Busy I guess...
Monday night Eddie and I watched X-Men First Class. It was pretty good. I had a million questions about the characters, but Eddie kept me informed. He was really into comic books as a kid, so his nerdiness helped me out.
Tuesday I took the day off for Eddie's uncles funeral.
After that was over his brother and his brothers girlfriend came over for a little bit. Then we had wings for dinner. I have never eaten a wing before, so it was my first time. I was a little grossed out at first, just because I don't like eating meat off the bone, but they were pretty good once I got over the bone part.
I bought the Sims pets and installed it on my computer. It is so fun! I didn't get to play long because it got late before I realized it.
Today Vallerie has been a little butt head. Actually she's been like that for a few days. Eddie and I think she might be getting more teeth. We don't really know. She only slept for 40 min her first nap, so hopefully her second one (which she is taking now) is a longer one. Poor Eddie didn't sleep well last night so he is tired. I on the other hand slept pretty good, maybe because I was being a bed hog (sorry Eddie)
That's about all I know for now... will update if something cool happens.
4:04PM
Ok so this isn't really "cool", but Vallerie got up from her nap about an hour ago and she has been screaming/crying up until about 15 minutes ago. We gave her some Tylenol because we thought she might be getting more teeth, but that didn't seem to help. I really don't know what's wrong. I feel so bad that Eddie has to deal with it alone while I am up working.
I want to go down and "help" so badly, but at the same time I don't want to frustrate Eddie more than he is. It is really hard to just sit and listen to her cry and know that Eddie is miserable and doing everything he can to calm her down. I hope hope HOPE she stays relatively happy until I can take my dinner break at 6pm. It's only 2 hours, but it will feel like forever if she has another meltdown.
I love my family, but I wish there were less days like these.

Monday January 9th
This weekend was fun.
Saturday was Eddie's birthday. His sister and her husband came over and made him hot wings. He ate a lot of them and thought they were delicious. I played his Zoom song (he was not impressed) That's about all that happened, but he didn't want anything big to go on.
Sunday we went out to lunch at Steak N Shake with his mom, brother, and brothers girlfriend. His brother is in town for their uncles funeral on Tues. He wasn't supposed to come home until June, but I guess this was a reason to visit. '
After that we went to Walmart and got some stuff. Mostly food, but we did see some cute jammies for Vallerie, so we got those too. Spongebob, Dinosaur Train, and Hello Kitty. She wore the Dinosaur Train ones last night.
We didn't do much after we got home. Eddie watched some tv and I played the Sims. I will probably get the pets expansion pack this week. I have wanted it for a while.
Today I am working from home. I probably wont go into the office until Friday. I was going to go in tomorrow, but we're going to Eddie's uncles funeral in Waynestown(?). It's probably 40min to an hour away.
I have enough flowers made for 6 ornaments. Hopefully I will have time to put them together. After I finish those I will use some of my awesome new paper. Still haven't found my superglue. I'm sure it's around somewhere. I think I told myself to make a mental note of where it was. Obviously that didn't work.
11:20 AM
My super glue has been FOUND! It was in a bag in the spare room along with some ribbon and a rubber stamp. I knew I put it somewhere weird like that.

Friday January 6th
Yesterday after work as I was driving down my street, I noticed something awesome. Everyone had new BIG garbage cans! I guess the city gave everyone one. This makes me happy. It can hold a lot more than our current can, AND it has a lid. (No more free meals for you stupid cats)
I decided that I would go into town and get some paper since it was 1/2 off, and also get Eddie's birthday present since it is tomorrow. The big 3-0.
Vallerie and I went to 3 stores to find Eddie's present, which is a wallet. I thought that TJ Maxx would have something, but no. Then we went to Gordmans, still nothing. Finally we went to the mall (ick) I was looking for a certain store (American Eagle), and thought I knew where it was. I ended up walking 1/2 the mall looking for it when I decided to just go in another store. (The Buckle) I swear they move those stores around so much it's ridiculous!
Luckily I found what I was looking for in The Buckle. It's a brown leather wallet with a little pull out part so Eddie can use it for his bank card and all the other little card thingies he has. That was one of the things he liked about his old wallet that got stolen from our car on a trip to my moms.
Before we went to the mall though, we went to Hobby Lobby for paper. I don't know if people had picked through it before I got there, but wow, there was like nothing. They had some really nice paper, but it was too thick to do what I wanted with it, so I had to look a little harder to find what I wanted. I ended up finding a nice paper pack with rainbow papers.
After the mall we went to Walmart to get some food. Nothing special.
Overall, Vallerie got a 9.8 on our shopping trip. She was fantastic. The only thing that lowered her score was the fact that she didn't want to sit still in the carts. She didn't fuss, she was just trying to stand up. I don't know how I got so lucky, but I sure am happy.
After we went home from our shopping trip, Eddie made dinner (scrambled eggs and bacon) and then I did the dishes and put Vallerie to bed.
I told Eddie that I got him a birthday present and he immediately guessed what it was even without one tiny hint. So, I decided just to give it to him then. To say he is amazing at guessing presents is an understatement. I am horrible at keeping surprises, and I really wanted to give it to him right away anyway.
He said that he really liked it, all he needs to do now is break it in.
I played about an hour of my new dance game last night. It was fun. Some of the dance moves were hard (even on easy level) I don't know if I am that coordinated. I ended up drinking too much tea and got a stomach ache, so I went to bed.
All in all yesterday was a really good day.
I am working from home today which is nice. I am hoping it will be an easy fun day.

Thursday January 5th
Last night after work Eddie and I watched Fast Five. It was ok. It was more like Oceans Eleven that Fast and the Furious, so I was a little disappointed. After that we went to bed. It was after midnight before the movie was over.
It's hard working until 9pm because I need to wind down after work, and so by that time it's really late. Vallerie got up early today, around 5:30, so I think Eddie might have a rough day, although I sure hope not.
Working in the office today. We have some higher ups coming in so everyone was instructed to wear their black logo shirt. It's weird having everyone dressed alike. I don't like it. Oh well. There's not anything I can do about it.
Thirsty, might head down to the gas station to grab me a soda. Delicious soda Mmm.

Wednesday January 3rd
Today my mom left to go back home. I am sad. I wish she could stay forever. I guess things will go back to "normal" at our house now. Whatever that is. Need to do some tidying up, but that wont take long. I will probably do it this weekend.
Yesterday after work my mom and I went to my gpas for a few minutes and got Chinese food. It was good. The only bad thing that happened was the bottom fell out of the food bag so a little of Eddie's food splatted on the floor. I think he had enough left over though. I will probably eat my left overs for dinner tonight.
I am about 3/4 through the book I started "House Rules". It's a really good book about an 18yr old with Aspergers Syndrome that is accused of murdering his tutor. I normally don't go for murder mysteries, but this one is good. I am going to send it my moms way after I am done.
I think I will try out the new game I bought tonight after work. I haven't gotten the chance. With my mom being here (and me too embarrassed to try it in front of her, or probably even Eddie for that matter) and being tired I just haven't popped it in. It's Dance Central for the xbox Kinects, so it's actual dancing, and I'm sure I will look like an idiot whale trying to dance, it's not something I want people watching me do, but the demo was fun.
That's about all for now. Going to do some work and wish I was somewhere else... One of those days I guess.

Christmas week (and then some)
I realize I haven't posted for over a week (almost 2) but hey, the only people that read this thing are already at my house, so I didn't think it was a big deal.
Christmas eve we had Eddie's family over for dinner and presents. It was... hectic, but fun. The kids seemed to have a good time. The grown ups played UNO for a while. Vallerie got some good loot, and so did we.
Christmas day we went to my mom/sisters hotel room and did presents. Got some good loot there too. Vallerie did pretty well, except for this little pig that scared her.
After that we went home and Vallerie had a nap. Then we headed over to my grandpas house to do presents. Vallerie got some really awesome stuff from my/her cousin from Hungary. Stacking dolls and some Hungarian books among other things. They are so awesome.
After that long day we went home and slept. My mom came over the next day to stay with us for a while. She's still here actually. This is probably one of the longest trips she's had. It makes me happy. She is leaving tomorrow though, so that makes me sad. She decided to stay longer because she was buying a new car (A Honda Fit) and didn't want that day to count as a visiting day or something. Her car is really cute.
I don't really remember all that happened the last week, but we went out to eat a few times, Eddie and I bought a Kinects for the Xbox, and I bought a dance game for it. My mom and I went shopping and she bought me some clothes which I desperately needed. I also got some neat boots. My mom and I cleaned and set up my craft room with my new table. It looks great so far. Probably wont take me long to mess it up. Hehehe.
If I can remember anything else I will add it. It's still early, and the week went by way too fast, so I am sure I am missing some things...
