Late blogging today...
After I got home yesterday we decided it was too stinkin' HOT, so we walked over to my aunts house and hooked the hose up to Vallerie's pool. I think the water was too cold because she didn't want to get in the pool. She also didn't want to run through the sprinkler. I think Eddie had more fun and got more wet than Vallerie.
When we got home, I went to the grocery store and got dinner. We had Feutcinni(sp, spell check not working) with broccoli and chicken. Vallerie loved hers. Eddie didn't, and I thought it was good. After we were done eating, I gave Vallerie a quick bath and then put her to bed.
I watched some tv, and then Eddie played some racing. I went and laid down and watched some tv and read a little bit. I went to bed kind of early last night.
Today I was comissioned to coordinate the company picnic. It's going to be on Friday July 20th. I have a lot to do before then, and since I am going on vacation, it's going to be rough. I will probably take my work laptop with me so I can keep up on things while I am gone. I asked a couple other people to help me, so I think it'll be ok. I wanted to order shirts for the kids, but I don't think there will be enough time, so I am going to go for goodie bags with toys in them. They didn't give me a budget so... yeah. The shirts would have cost around $350, so I figure as long as I stay under that amount I will be fine. I am also getting a company credit card! I guess all the employees are supposed to have one. I didn't know that!
Tonight we will probably have pizza for dinner, and then I will try and get some laundry done. Tomorrow we have a nice full day. Getting the oil changed and Eddie will probably pick up a couple shirts. I might look for some for me as well.
Tried to cancel Vallerie's swimsuit online. It looks like it did get canceled, but it doesn't look like my $ has been refunded yet. I am going to have to keep checking on that.
I ended up selling some stuff at the stores that my mom took my crafts to. (Yay) Very happy about that! Hopefully there's more to come.
Feeling totally unprepared for vacation. Not looking forward to the drive, or the packing. I know we'll forget something.
Was supposed to go out to dinner tonight with my aunt and gpa, but I guess she called Eddie and said they had to cancel. Not sure why, he said there were like 6 reasons she listed. Oh well, we can always get together later. That's not really on my top list of priorities.
Rained and hailed a little today, not for very long. I'm sure it's all dry by now. It's been like 105 the last couple days. The rain really helped make it cooler out. Hopefully this weekend won't be so bad.

June 28th
Yesterday I left work early for my doc appt. When we were in the waiting room Vallerie was babbling to Eddie, and all of a sudden she said "All done" and then she proceeded to let out the biggest, longest fart ever... There were like 10 people in the waiting room with us, and they all laughed. It was funny, but I was like oh. my. god!
After that we went to the Mazda place and bought an oil change booklet and then we went to Old Navy to get Vallerie some flip flops. We got her a neon green pair of flip flops, and a green/grey pair of slip on shoes. We also got her a back up swim suit.

Couldn't find a pic of the slip on shoes, but they are pretty cool. Vallerie was not a good shopper. She was actually a real pain in the ass. (I still adore her to pieces). Eddie got frustrated because we were rushed, I got frustrated because Eddie was frustrated. We were going to go to Walmart and do some grocery shopping and get Vallerie's birthday presents, and then hit up the bank to deposit money, but we decided to go home.
We got home, fed Vallerie, played for a little while and then put Vallerie to bed. After she was in bed Eddie and I watched "Chronicle". It was a pretty good movie. After that I watched an episode of Dr. Who and fell asleep. Eddie played some racing on his xbox. I don't think he got to bed until like 4am. I think he thought it was earlier than it was. However, when I got up for work at 5:30, he was asleep on the couch.
I went to Walmart today on my lunch break. I got Vallerie's bean bag and a little purple chair for her to put in her swing set house. I also got a $12 duffel bag for vacation. Eddie hates my luggage (aka my dad's old luggage), so I thought this would make him happy. It's red and black. They didn't have any "fun" colors.
After that I headed across the street to Cato's. In Nov. they had a really cute tank top that looked good on me, but I didn't buy it. So, I thought I would try my luck and see if they still had it. They didn't. I was pretty bummed. I tried on a few tank tops, but they all looked crappy. None of them fit right. The bottom of them fit, but the arm holes were too big and you could see the side of my bra. I guess I don't have the correct body shape for tank tops.
Not sure what today's plan is. I think I will do some laundry and start to get things ready to go. I can't believe we're leaving in 5 days! So much to do, so little time!

June 27th
Yesterday after I got home I washed the dishes, with Vallerie's help, then I watched some tv. Eddie decided to do a little fishing on the canal. (He didn't catch anything)
After Vallerie had dinner, Eddie was still fishing, so I decided we would go check on him and see what his plan was. We walked all the way around one side of the canal and didn't see him, so as we were walking across the bridge to go home I hear him yell "Lauren?" I yell back "Eddie?" and then Vallerie starts yelling "Eddie! Hello? Dad?"... it was really cute. She was wearing her sandals (I didn't think we would walk as far as we did) and she kept getting rocks under her feet. She would stop and say "foot" and then lift up the foot with the rocks in it. She also learned "march" I kept telling her to march, and then she would say "march" and swing her arms while she was walking.
We found Eddie and he showed Vallerie how to fish a little bit. She was more interested in throwing rocks in the water. Eddie packed up his gear and we all walked home.
Put Vallerie to bed, and then I went upstairs and covered two of her switch plates. I was going to use the same paper that I did on her wooden letters, but I only had one piece that was the same, so I used that on the light switch. I have one other one to cover, and I will probably do that today. I think the paper I used on the socket switch plate will match her room. If not... oh well. I can start over.
After that was done I went downstairs and was going to watch some Dr. Who, but the PS3 needed an update, so I read my book until it was done. It took longer than I thought it would, so by the time I could watch it, it was time for me to go to bed.
Found Vallerie's swimsuit online. I showed Eddie about 10 of them that I thought were cute. We decided on this one:

I am slightly concerned that it won't be delivered to my moms house before we have to leave for Myrtle Beach. They didn't have an expidited shipping option, and it said it would be shipped within 6-10 business days. I am kinda freaking out. I think we may try and find a back up just in case. I also ordered book 3 in the series I am re-reading. (First American Series). That should get there while we're visiting. I am still on the 2nd book, but I have a feeling I'll be doing some reading while we're gone.
Kind of a busy day planned today. I have a doc appt this afternoon, and then we're going to go shopping for a few things for vacation. We also have to stop by the bank, and get Vallerie's Birthday presents. I made a list of all the things we need to do today. I will probably do some laundry when we get home, and start laying out (aka finding) clothes that I will be taking with me.

June 26th
Yesterday when I got home Vallerie and I colored with her new crayons. Well, I colored, and Vallerie watched. She wasn't happy when I decided I was done.
We went for a walk on the canal. Vallerie threw rocks in the water. She didn't want to come home. We got to our yard and she must have known it was time to go in because she started crying. Once we got inside we ate dinner and then she went to bed.
After she was in bed Eddie played some racing on the xbox and I went upstairs and covered one of her switch plates with scrapbook paper. The paper is blue with blue polka dots. I outlined the socket holes with blue glitter glue, and added blue and purple glitter glue to some of the dots on it. It looks cute. I didn't get to put it on the wall yet. It needed to dry, and since Vallerie was asleep I couldn't go in her room to check it out. If it looks good I will cover the others the same way.
I have another project I am thinking of doing. I have a white sheet of hers that I was going to paint polka dots on and use that was her stuffed animal hammock. I'm not sure if I will do that or if we'll buy a mesh one. Guess we'll have to wait and see.
After I finished the switchplate I watched some tv and then went online to try and search for Vallerie's swimsuit. I found nothing that I liked. I did however find a very offensive (to me anyway) "swim suit" for toddlers. It looks like this:

I know that some people may disagree (and I don't really give two shits) but this is just wrong. Why in the hell would you put a CHILD in something like this?! I thimk the designer should be punched in the face.
Anyway, after I looked online (for like 2 hours) I finally gave up and went to bed.
Started looking online again this morning, and found nothing. There are a couple that are "ok" that might have to be bought. I think Eddie and I will have to go into some stores and look. I am hoping that Vallerie cooperates. There are some cute flip flops at Old Navy that I want to get her. They are like $4 and easily slip on and off. Maybe they will have a swimsuit too. Who knows.
We're totally not ready for vacation. We haven't started getting anything ready, and we still have a bunch of things to do before we go. I'm getting excited, but also worried that we wont get everything done, and we will be in a rush at the last minute (story of my life).
Here are the (few) suits that are "ok":
I like the blue one and the black one the best, but I really don't see any of them as "the one"... maybe I'm being too picky.

June 25th
I think we had a pretty good weekend.
Friday after I got home Vallerie and I went to the grocery store. I thought I would be a good mom and let her walk around with me rather than put her in a cart (it works for Eddie). It only lasted about 5 minutes until Vallerie was in full tantrum mode. She didn't want to follow me and she sure as heck didn't want to be picked up. So there I was with a basket of food in one hand, and a screaming, crying, kicking toddler in the other hand. Everyone and I mean EVERYONE in the store was staring at me. (Not something I particularly enjoy) When I got to the check out, I put Vallerie in a cart (she didn't like that at all) and checked out. Her damn shoes fell off, so I couldn't let her walk out of the store in bare feet. She once again did not want to be carried. Once we got to the car though, she was totally fine... I will NOT be doing that again.
After Vallerie was in bed I watched some Dr. Who and finished the book I was reading.
Saturday we stayed home. We got invited to go out with a co-worker of mine and some of her friends. We couldn't find a baby sitter, so we ended up staying home. I was pretty bummed. We don't have any friends, so I was excited to get the opportunity for us to make some. Plus now I'm afraid that since I turned her down she won't ask again. Guess we'll see.
That night I finished up the dvd I am making for my gpa, aunt, and cousin thanking them for Vallerie's swing set. I think it turned out pretty good. Eddie thought so too, or so he said. (He's normally pretty honest) I am going to give them to my aunt before we go on vacation.
Sunday we went into town. Our nephew turned 2 last week and he was having his birthday party. We stopped by Target and got him a couple presents then we headed over to the party. It was on ok time. Vallerie somehow got kicked in the face by someone on a swing, so she has a nice dark bruise on the bottom of her cheek. It also looked like she had some red marks on her forehead. Not sure who the kicker was, but I was not happy. I know kids are supposed to play and get hurt, but I don't like it when it's my kid that's getting hurt.
Vallerie got some of her birthday presents at the party for her cousin. She got some markers, triangular crayons, and this really awesome dry erase board that you use special crayons on. I actually played with it for like 45 minutes while she was outside. Hey, I had to make sure it worked!
After we left there, we went over to Eddie's sister DaNina's house. Eddie is going to help his brother-in-law build a deck, so they were mapping it out. Vallerie started getting fussy (she had no nap that day) so we went home, fed Vallerie, gave her a bath, and put her to bed.
After she was in bed I watched some tv and fell asleep. Eddie I guess decided he was too good for sleep, because he was up all night racing on the xbox. I think he'll be pretty tired today.
A funny story: When we were headed into town yesterday, Eddie and I were having a discussion and Vallerie said "stop it". We continued our discussion and so Vallerie said "stop it stop it stop it stop it stop it". We thought it was funny. She's so cute.
She's been wearing her sunglasses a lot lately (and keeping them on her face). We have 3 more pair somewhere in the house. I ripped the house apart looking for them, but there were no where to be found. I think we'll have to get some more before we go on vacation. I think there's one more place they might be. I'll check when I get home.

June 22nd
Has it really been a week since I posted last?? Shame on me!
Friday (last Friday that is) Eddie and I were vacuuming Vallerie's room and chatting. I went to peek into the living room to check on Vallerie and what do I see? My mom! She was just sitting on the couch talking to Vallerie. Eddie and I didn't even know she had arrived.
Saturday we went to Walmart and got some groceries and paint for Vallerie's room. Eddie and I agreed on colors without much argument.
Sunday we started painting Vallerie's room. The base is lavender. It really is a great color!
Monday we had some appointments in the morning, but after that we stopped over to the Columbian park zoo. We were not really impressed. The petting zoo part wasn't open. I think Vallerie would have really liked that. Then we got some pizza and took it home. After Vallerie's nap my mom and I started painting polka dots on Vallerie's wall. We got 2 of the 3 colors done. (dark purple and turquoise) It looked GREAT.
Tuesday I had to go back into work. I actually had training that day and got to go see the wind turbans and then to the Fair Oaks Dairy. The wind turbans were cool for about 5 minutes, but the novelty wore off quickly. Our bus broke down as we were leaving the wind farm, so we had to wait at the local co-op for about 45 minutes until a new bus came. Then we headed to the dairy. I thought the dairy was really cool! We almost got to see a baby calf being born, but we had to leave before it happened. I bought gifts for Eddie, Vallerie, and my mom. Eddie got some Hot sauce, Vallerie got a cow stuffed animal that was purple with dark purple polka dots (matches her room!) and I got my mom some cheese. (delicious). The bus home (the same one that broke, but they "fixed" it) the AC was not working. It was a damn hot day.
After I got home, my mom and I finished up the rest of the polka dots in Vallerie's room. (white). It looks really really good. Vallerie will go in and touch the dots and say "what's that" and then sometimes she will name the correct color.
Wednesday my mom went home and I was sad. Had a full day of meetings, so I suppose it was good to keep my mind off of it.
Thursday Eddie had an appt at 9am, so I got to work from home so I could watch Vallerie while he was gone. I was very surprised that I was allowed to do that. Happy though! It actually got a little hot up in my office. I had to turn on the fan.
I've recently started re watching Dr. Who. I am on the 4th or 5th episode of season 1. I made a TARDIS coozie for one of my coworkers friends who loves Dr. Who. I thought it would be a nice surprise for her.
Last night after work I watched some Hells Kitchen, and Eddie and I watched 1/2 of a new dating game show on tv. I think it's called The Choice. It was stupid. So, we decided to watch our Netflix movie (which we've had for like 3 weeks). It was The Sitter. It was ok I guess. Not the worst thing I've seen. After that was over, we went to bed.
I had a great (almost) week with my mom. I wish she could have stayed longer, but we'll be seeing her in a couple weeks when we go on vacation.

June 15th
Wednesday after I got home, Eddie and Vallerie were outside. Eddie was putting the final parts of the swing set on. It took him all day to finish. It was one of the longest days he was out working on it. He did end up finishing it, and it looks fantastic. We took some great pictures. Here's one of my favorites:
That is Vallerie looking out one of the holes at the top. She's so cute!
After Vallerie went to bed, Eddie finished up the swing set and I finished the cards I was making for my sister.
Thursday after I got home we went to the hospital to visit Eddie's sister before they went home with their new baby. We snapped some pictures, and there was actually a good one with me holding him! Vallerie was not happy that her daddy had another baby in his arms. (Might be a bad sign if we decide to have another kid) She was a little fussy, but settled down if we gave her Doritos. To her defense, it was rather late (6:30pm) when we got there, and she was probably tired and ready to eat dinner.
After we left the hospital, we got some dinner and went home. After Vallerie was tucked into bed, Eddie played some video games, and I started working on the picture DVD for my family. I got the first part sorted out (the build) but I have some wording I will need to change. I need to get my moms opinion on it. Next I am going to add in "Eddie's helpers"--mainly Vallerie. For the first part of the build, I left out pictures of Vallerie "helping". I thought it would be cute to add those in next. We have some great ones of her. After that part is done, I am going to do pictures of "fun" with Vallerie (and Eddie) playing on it. We have some good pictures of that already, but I am going to get more. I also need to get some music for each part. I know what I will be using for the "fun" part, but the other two I am totally stumped on. I would like to use something from a cd we own because I don't want to have to buy any songs online. (I will have to buy one for the fun part, Sunshine lollipops and rainbows) I would like the music to be something that my 92 yr. old grandpa would like.
The only thing I don't like about the Movie Maker program, is you can't change the color scheme on some of the effects, so you're stuck with a very limited amount to choose from. I can make it work though. It's actually a pretty cool program.
So, I messed around on that for a good 3 hours, and looked at the clock and decided it was time to go to bed (12:30am!).
I got a new project at work (data entry) so I am doing that today. I may head over to Walmart and pick up some paint color sheets. I think Eddie and I have decided to paint Vallerie's room with a pastel purple, and then put darker polka dots on it. Now we just have to agree on colors. Hopefully we can do that without getting angry LOL!
My mom will be here around 5pm today. Happy to have her visit, even if it's only for a few days. I think she will enjoy spending time with Vallerie. Even though she was just here a couple months ago, Vallerie has changed a bit since then. (saying more words, getting her own personality, etc) Her "new" thing is taking your hand or finger and dragging you around to wherever she wants to go. It's ok sometimes, but most of the time I really just want to sit in the spot where I am. She does not like it if you don't want to go with her.
So, before my mom gets here, I have to make a quick tidy of the house. Shouldn't take long, there's only a few things I need to do.

June 13th
Yesterday after a long boring day at work, I came home and washed some dishes. Vallerie "helped", she actually didn't get the floor as wet as she normally does. Then I cleaned off the counters, microwave and stove.
We had taco's for dinner (YUM!) Vallerie ate like 6 spoon fulls of sour cream. She's a weird one that's for sure.
After dinner Eddie decided to do a little more work on the swing set. We ended up putting Vallerie's swing on and let her swing for a little while. While we were outside my aunt and gpa stopped by. I think that my gpa was impressed at what we got. I snapped a few pictures while they were there. It will be great for my special thank you project. After they were there for about 15 min, Vallerie started getting fussy. She was only in a diaper (we weren't expecting company, and were only going to be out there for a few minutes) She didn't want to get out of the swing, but she didn't want to swing either. I really do not know what she wanted. I took her out of the swing and she ran around a little bit (pulling her aunt) and then she was unhappy again, so they left and we went inside and got her ready for bed.
After Vallerie was in bed, Eddie and I went back outside and did some more work on the swing set. We got quite a bit accomplished I think. Eddie still has a bit to do. I thought it was almost finished, but I forgot that the bottom part needs to be all paneled. Oops. He should finish within the next day or so.
When it got too dark we went inside. Eddie played some video games and I went upstairs to try and completely finish my sisters cards. I got them almost done. I think I can knock them out tonight. I have to finish them this week! I stayed upstairs until 12am, and then I decided I should go to bed. (Tired today!)
Eddie's sister had her baby yesterday. His name is Raymon Gregory, and he was born at 5:45pm. 8lbs 14oz. We didn't stop by the hospital because there was already a lot of people there. We told her to call us when she wanted us to come visit. We might go this afternoon I'm not sure. We should probably get her and the baby a little something. Maybe I'll make his name in letters like I did for Vallerie. They have a great space on the nursery wall where it would look perfect!

June 12th
Yesterday a few minutes after I got home Eddie's sister and brother in law came by. Eddie and his brother in law started building Vallerie's swing set. They were at it for about 6 hours. They had to stop when it got too dark. (10pm) They got it about 80% done I think. It's looking really nice. Vallerie was out "helping". My aunt stopped by to check out the progress and Vallerie was pulling her around the yard and hitting her with sticks. It was funny.
After they went home we stayed up for a short while and watched a little tv.
Eddie's sister is getting induced today, actually she got induced at 8am this morning. She was 2 weeks overdue. I called Eddie to see if he had heard anything yet, but he hasn't. I assume that means no baby, and probably no hard labor yet. We're going to wait for their call to see when to head over to the hospital. His sister was saying that there would be more than a few people there, and she was a little upset about it, so we didn't want to butt in.
Tonight the plan is to maybe do a little work on the swing set, and then I have to put the finishing touches on my sisters cards. I really wanted them done last week, but I didn't get the chance to finish them. It shouldn't take too long, so I think I can knock them out this evening.
I have a great plan for a thank you gift for my aunt, cousin, and grandpa. I am of course going to send a card, I'll probably include a picture too. Then I am going to make a dvd slide show kind of thing with pictures of the building of it, and Vallerie playing on it. I hope I can get some pictures of my grandpa and aunt playing with Vallerie on it. Luckily we have a great program on our home computer that can do what I want. Eddie's sister uses it, so if I have problems she can help me.
There's a new episode of Dr. Who on Netflix. It's the "Christmas special". They have one every year. I can't wait to watch it! I also have some other shows I need to watch, so there will be a lot of tv watching in my future.
Sometime before my mom visits (FRIDAY) Eddie and I need to go pick out a paint color for Vallerie's room. I am hoping that we can agree on something. Eddie prefers a dark color while I was thinking more of an earthy or pastel color. We will have to see if we can find something we both enjoy.

June 11th
We had a really nice weekend.
Saturday we stayed home and had a nice day in. I made some pancakes for breakfast. They were pretty good. I did a little house cleaning too. Sunday we went out to search for a swing set for Vallerie's birthday. We found one at Sams Club. It's really cool! Eddie is starting to put it together today. It'll probably take him a while.
Eddie's sister and brother in law are coming over tonight to help with the swing set. I have to do dishes, so I can't help. Eddie's sister is still pregnant! so she can't really help either. I guess tomorrow is her last day. They will induce her. She'll be 2 weeks overdue. She's ready!
I know this is short, but that's really all I feel like typing...

June 8th
It's Friday! I'm pretty excited, and I don't really know why. I don't think we have any plans for the weekend. I guess I'm just happy that I don't have to work this weekend and I get to be with my family.
Yesterday after I got home Eddie and Vallerie were outside. Vallerie was plating in her little pool. We stayed outside for a little bit then came in. Not much happened after that. After Vallerie was in bed I played some Diablo and then Eddie and I played some Boggle on the xbox. He needed some achievement points to up his score, so we got those for him.
I forgot to mention that the other day (Wednesday I think) I tried gluing scrapbook paper onto wooden letters (Vallerie's name) I checked on them yesterday, and none of them stuck. So, I really don't know what to do now. I might try again, if I can find another tutorial online, or I might just paint them. I'm a little disappointed because they were going to look so cute!
This morning when I got Vallerie up, I put her onto the changing table and she started counting. She ended up counting to 6 (missing the number 3) but she was also using her fingers like I have been showing her. She didn't get it exactly right, but I thought it was pretty damn cool. I don't know if I mentioned this before, but she has been jumping. At first she wasn't too good at it, but now she can jump off the ground. She just jumps and jumps. It's cute.

June 7th
I guess I forgot to blog yesterday.
Let's see how much I can remember... After I got home I started crocheting another can kozie. This one is a cupcake. I finished it that evening. Then I watched Hells Kitchen and Master Chef and went to bed (I think!)
Yesterday when I got home we didn't do much. I did a load of laundry and folded/put away Vallerie's clothes. She played in her room for a little while. Then, after she was in bed I played some Diablo 3 on the comp. Eddie and I started watching Jack and Jill, but we both got bored and fell asleep.
Tired again today. I had a 3 hour meeting this morning. At least it made the day go by fairly quickly.
Tonight's plan is to maybe finish the cards I am making my sister, but I'll probably play some Diablo instead. Hehehe.

June 5th
Yesterday when I got home from work I started in on Vallerie's room. It took me 4 hours, but I did manage to get it rearranged, and clean. All of her toys are in the toy chest and her closet is cleaned out and organized. It still needs a good vacuuming, but I will leave that up to Eddie. He's better at it than me.
After that was done, Vallerie had dinner and went to bed. Eddie gave her a strawberry shortcake for dessert. She liked it.
I watched Eureka while I ate dinner and then watched Hells Kitchen and Master Chef while Eddie played some games. After that we watched the last 2 episodes of Game of Thrones. They were pretty good. I dozed out for a few minutes on the last one, but Eddie woke me up so I could see what was happening.
Then we went to bed. Vallerie woke up at 1am, so I went in there and calmed her down. Then I went back to bed.
Tired today, but I will wake up soon enough.

June 4th
We had a pretty good weekend.
Saturday was the town garage sale in Mulberry. We stopped by Eddie's sisters around 9am and got all our stuff out. They started at 6am! We hung out for a while and then Eddie's sister, Vallerie and I walked around a little bit. Eddie was reluctant to give me money, but I managed to keep $4 in my pocket. I didn't go crazy, but I did buy $2.75 worth of things.
That afternoon after Vallerie's nap, I decided to take the recliner out of her room. We're trying to make it so she can actually play in there. I moved the recliner into the dining room (intending to move it into our bedroom) and then I moved our dining room table to the other side of the room. Since Vallerie has been wanting to eat at the table like a big girl, we needed to move the table so there was room for all 3 of us to eat.
Eddie came in the dining room later on, and he said that he liked the recliner in there, so that's where it'll stay for now I guess.
After Vallerie went to bed, I went upstairs and worked on my sisters cards some more. I finally got everything cut out and ready. All I have to do now is get everything glued on the card. It took me about 4 hours just to get 2 of the images cut out, glued, and embellished. (To be fair, one of the images I had to cut out double since there's 2 of them on the card) I don't think putting them together will take too long. Maybe a couple hours.
Yesterday we were going to stop by Eddie's sisters again, but decided not to. They ended up coming over that evening and dropping off the clothes that didn't sell. They took the exercise bike and poker table to storage for us. Now all I have to do is go through Eddie's clothes and pick out the "brand name" ones and take them to Plato's Closet and take Vallerie's to OUaC.
We had delicious beef stew for dinner last night. I love Eddie's beef stew! While we were eating, we watched 1 episode of Game of Thrones. We have 2 more, but we decided we didn't feel like watching them. After that I was planning on going to bed, but I could not sleep. Eddie played some of his video game for a little while, then he came to bed. I think we stayed up until 2.
I don't think anything else interesting happened over the weekend... If I remember something I'll add it in later.

- 50 cent plastic beads (for Vallerie)
- $1 wooden toy car (for Vallerie)
- 50 cent bubble baths (for Vallerie)
- 50 cent peanut butter rice crispy treats (for Vallerie, Eddie's sis and me)

June 1st
Yesterday after I got home I was sitting with Vallerie and she held her nose and said "stinky". I had never seen that before so I asked Eddie if he taught it to her that day, and he said yes. Then he said "Vallerie, what is mommy's breath" and she held her nose and said "stinky" again. I was like. Gee, thanks Eddie! It was pretty cute though. She's also been saying "sorry" a lot. Even if she has nothing to be sorry for. She's a funny kid.
Eddie's sister and brother in law came over and got the exercise bike yesterday. They didn't stay too long though.
I went to the grocery store and got some dinner. Spaghetti YUM! Vallerie has not wanted to eat from her highchair tray, so the last few days we have been taking the tray off and pulling her up to the table to eat. She drops a lot more food, but that's ok. She's getting to be such a big girl.
After Vallerie had her bath and went to bed I started pricing clothes for the garage sale this weekend. It took me about 3 hours. I did all of Vallerie's stuff and all of Eddie's. Vallerie had about 3 diaper boxes full and Eddie had about 60 shirts. I am hoping we can sell most of it. If not, I am going to take Vallerie's clothes to Once Upon a Child, and Eddie's clothes (the name brand ones) to Plato's Closet. Whatever they don't want I'll either donate (Eddies) or keep (Valleries).
When I was finally done putting prices on clothes and folding them, I went in the bedroom and watched some more episodes of Drop Dead Diva. I think I am almost done with the season.
I was going to do some more work on the cards that I am making for my sisters friend, but it was late and I knew I would be upstairs for a while, so I decided to wait. I am hoping to have them done by Monday so I can mail them to her.
I'm pretty excited for this weekends garage sale. We're taking the stroller, so if Vallerie gets too fussy we can walk around and look at peoples stuff. Maybe someone has some good clothes for her! Eddie said we weren't going to buy anything. He's right, we shouldn't replace our junk with other peoples, but at the same time, you never know what kind of treasures you'll find. Maybe there'll be a Where's Goldie book!!
