Yesterday I worked in the mail room. My mail room boss is in FL buying some property close to her pregnant daughter, so I was all alone. Things were going great until I tried to put postage on the mail. Our new postage machine died. A guy came in to check it out and said that it needed a new "brain". Luckily he got one to us over night, so he came in and fixed it today.
Last night after I got home I made some rice crispy treats and cookies. The cookie dough was already made, all I had to do was put them in the oven. After that I did some dishes and laundry. Then I went to the grocery and got dinner. I actually cooked last night's meal. It was kielbasa, rolls, and mashed potatoes. After we ate, I put Vallerie to bed and then did the dinner dishes.
Eddie had downloaded a demo on the xbox for a game coming out next Tuesday. It's called SSX. Well, several years ago they had a SSX game for the Gamecube. We LOVED that game. So, needless to say I am so excited for this game to come out. Eddie was getting sick from the demo (literally) so I decided to download it to my xbox. I started it at about 8pm. It didn't get done downloading until like 11:30pm, so I didn't get to play it! I was sad, but I can always play it today. OH CRAP. A new Ghost Adventures is on tonight! Guess I will have to stop playing in time to watch it.
Working in the mail room again today. Things are going smoothly (since the postage meter is fixed) I am caught up on all the mail so far.
A co-worker gave me a couple things for Vallerie. 2 new sturdy plastic baby gates and a Fisher Price Smart Cycle. It's pretty cool. It hooks up to your tv and then a kid can play games and ride it. It's a little hard to explain, but I think Vallerie will like it. It says it's for a 3+ yr old, so we may have to pop it in storage for a while before she can actually use it. Here's a pic:
Not sure what tonight's plan is (other than playing the demo game and watching Ghost Adventures) We might go into town and pre-order the SSX game. You get an extra character if you do that. His name is EDDIE! And, he was in the last SSX game on the Gamecube. He was one of Eddie and my favorites.
