Yesterday while I was working and Vallerie was napping, Eddie went in to town and got the game we have been waiting for. (I had the baby monitor with me upstairs) So, after work I went down stairs and we played for a while, then we had dinner and put Vallerie to bed.
We played until about 1am and then I went to bed. Eddie said he went to bed around 2. I slept pretty good. Woke up today with Vallerie around 7am. She was not happy this morning. We think she may be getting a new tooth. She didn't want to eat, and she was a little hot, so we gave her some Tylenol. She is napping now. I hope she is a little happier when she wakes up.
Working late today, so it's going to be a long day. Ugh...
2:56PM
Vallerie is sick. She got up from her nap (which was 4 hours! Normal is 2) and she had a 103 degree fever. I called the doc, and they said to keep and eye on it and gave me some tips as to how to bring it down. Vallerie is currently in the tub to try and cool her a bit.
It's 67 degrees outside today! We opened the windows downstairs. WEIRD for February, but I can't complain. I just hope little V feels better. She didn't even want to eat this morning or afternoon.

Monday Feb 27th
Friday after work I can't remember what we did. Obviously it was nothing special...
Saturday we went into town and got Vallerie a couple new toys. We took back the remote control car that scared her and got a little magnetic drawing tablet, and a car tower thing that you put little cars on and they zoom down to the floor. It's pretty cool.
Sunday Eddie was so sweet and let me sleep in. I woke up around 8:30, but still that's an extra 2 hours than normal! I made some cinnamon buns for breakfast. Vallerie had one, and I guess she was literally bouncing off the walls.
Eddie decided it would be fun to put a pedometer (step counter) on Vallerie. So, he started out with it on the back of her shirt, but she found it, so then he tucked inside her onesie to the back of her diaper. About mid day I took it off and checked it, and she had about 2500 steps. Not sure if it was accurate, but it was pretty funny. She gets around that's for sure!
That evening, Eddie's sister and her family came over. We had beef stew and hung out. The kids played pretty well together. We got a cute video of Vallerie dancing.
I had a headache all weekend. It sucked, but I got through it.
Working in the office again today for the mail room. There should be enough to keep me busy all day.

Friday Feb 24th
It's Friday! I would be a little more excited if I didn't have to work tomorrow. And, I would take it off and swap it with another Sat, but me and another gal are the only ones working and we need 2 working on Sat. Oh well. I will take next Sat off.
Yesterday I worked in the mail room. My mail room boss is in FL buying some property close to her pregnant daughter, so I was all alone. Things were going great until I tried to put postage on the mail. Our new postage machine died. A guy came in to check it out and said that it needed a new "brain". Luckily he got one to us over night, so he came in and fixed it today.
Last night after I got home I made some rice crispy treats and cookies. The cookie dough was already made, all I had to do was put them in the oven. After that I did some dishes and laundry. Then I went to the grocery and got dinner. I actually cooked last night's meal. It was kielbasa, rolls, and mashed potatoes. After we ate, I put Vallerie to bed and then did the dinner dishes.
Eddie had downloaded a demo on the xbox for a game coming out next Tuesday. It's called SSX. Well, several years ago they had a SSX game for the Gamecube. We LOVED that game. So, needless to say I am so excited for this game to come out. Eddie was getting sick from the demo (literally) so I decided to download it to my xbox. I started it at about 8pm. It didn't get done downloading until like 11:30pm, so I didn't get to play it! I was sad, but I can always play it today. OH CRAP. A new Ghost Adventures is on tonight! Guess I will have to stop playing in time to watch it.
Working in the mail room again today. Things are going smoothly (since the postage meter is fixed) I am caught up on all the mail so far.
A co-worker gave me a couple things for Vallerie. 2 new sturdy plastic baby gates and a Fisher Price Smart Cycle. It's pretty cool. It hooks up to your tv and then a kid can play games and ride it. It's a little hard to explain, but I think Vallerie will like it. It says it's for a 3+ yr old, so we may have to pop it in storage for a while before she can actually use it. Here's a pic:

Not sure what tonight's plan is (other than playing the demo game and watching Ghost Adventures) We might go into town and pre-order the SSX game. You get an extra character if you do that. His name is EDDIE! And, he was in the last SSX game on the Gamecube. He was one of Eddie and my favorites.

Wednesday Feb 22nd
Yesterday after work we went into town and got some groceries and stopped by Eddie's mom's. Vallerie and her cousin played a little bit. It was cute.
We had steak taco's for dinner. They were great, but the meat is making the fridge smell weird, so we'll just have to finish them off tonight. Hehe.
After Vallerie was in bed I played some Rockband and then went to sleep.
Busy at work today. Had a lot of calls to make. I am about done with my list though. I was worried I wouldn't be able to get them all done.
That's about all I know...
Ok so I just went dowwnstairs. I had brought home a box to put some of Vallerie's old toys in to box them up, and what do I see when I go downstairs?
Eddie has turned the box into a little fort and Vallerie was coloring on it with markers. Guess I won't be using that box for toys.

Tuesday Feb. 21st
Yesterday during my lunch break I went to Walmart and got some stuff. I bought some more paint for Vallerie. Bigger bottles of 10 colors, some sponge brushes, a few big bowls, some sticky notes, and some felt tip pens for Eddie.
After I got home from work, Vallerie was napping so I thought I would try and start over on my Rockband game. I had to change some settings, and by the time I got all that sorted out she was awake, so I didn't get to actually play.
I got Vallerie up and she did some painting. She made 3 paintings, and used her new brushes. I think she liked them. She was so cute! She tested the taste of the new paint. I don't think she liked it because she didn't do it again. She didn't get too messy, so no bath. I just washed her off with a wet paper towel.
After she was done painting I put on one of her new favorite movies, cleaned up the kitchen, and did some laundry.
After Vallerie went to bed I actually got to play some of my game, and then Eddie and I finished Super 8. It was a decent movie. Nothing spectacular.
Our cable tv is all fuzzy and out HBO isn't working again. I was supposed to call the new cable company when HBO was working, but I never got around to it, and I'm glad since it's out again. Good thing none of our good shows are set to record. If it's not better in a couple days I will call them and complain. I hate doing that.
In the office again today. I was needed in the mail room again. Yesterday was fun I sent out a couple hundred emails. It took me all day, and it made the day zoom by. Today I am just doing regular daily mail. My mail room boss got me a gift card for helping her. I thought that was sweet.
Not sure what we'll do tonight. Eddie's game guide comes out today, but I don't know if he wants to buy it or not. We may make a trip into town I don't know. Depends on every one's mood I suppose.

Monday Feb. 20th
This weekend was pretty good. Saturday after work we went into town and spent some money on Vallerie. We went to Target and got her a bunch of cute clothes and an awesome pair of shoes. We also got her a little pink remote control car with flashing lights. She hates it. It scares her when it drives towards her. I'm not sure if we will take it back or not. We kept the box just in case. We also stopped by Eddie's moms. She had some stuff for us and Vallerie for Valentine's Day.
After we got home and Vallerie was in bed Eddie and I watched the movie Priest. It was about vampires . I fell asleep. I might end up watching it before we return it to Netflix. Eddie said it was ok.
I also managed to finish Eddie's sisters invitations. Now all I need to do is add the paper on the back with all the party info.
Sunday I got up at my normal time (6:15ish) and put on some toons for Vallerie. She was thoroughly entertained, so I thought I would make the most of my morning. I did the dishes, cleaned the stove, microwave, swept and mopped the floor, and made a cake. I got all that done by 9am. Then I was bored.
When Vallerie took her 1st nap I was going to play some Rockband on the xbox. I put in the game and it gave me a message that my game didn't load and asked if I wanted to continue without saving, or overwrite my save file. Well I was a dumb ass and overwrote it, so I competely deleted my saved game. Now, this may not sound like a major problem, but I literally had HUNDREDS of hours put into this game. HUNDREDS! I have been playing it for like 3 years. Now if I want to try and get some achievements, I will have to start over. I was a little more than upset. And, no I never did get to play.
After Vallerie woke up, Eddie's sister and her husband came over. We played Kinects and ate Arni's. It was a fun afternoon/evening.
When they had gone home we put Vallerie to bed and then Eddie and I watched Super 8. It's one of the movies my cousin got us for Christmas. I watched about 1/2 before I fell asleep. I think Eddie got about 3/4 through it. We both thought it was pretty good, so I think we will restart it sometime soon.
Lost a great pen today. It's one of those felt tip pens. The most awesome pens EVER! I had one at work, and now it's gone. I don't know if I misplaced it, or if someone walked off with it. I am sad. It was a great pen. I think I may get some more.
Learning something new in the office today in the mailroom. It should be fun. I like learning things.

Friday Feb 17th
Yesterday was fun. I worked in the mail room.
After I got home me and Vallerie hung out and then after she went to bed I watched an episode of Dr. Who and did some "pinning" on Pinterest. I was pretty bored.
Don't know what our weekend plans are. I have to work tomorrow (from home) but that's only until noon.
Vallerie has been doing some cool things lately. She will point to my or Eddie's eye and say "eye". Eddie said she pointed to his nose and said "nose". So, that's pretty neat. She was on the couch yesterday and the cat started making his "get away from me noise" and Vallerie pointed at him and said "no" then she took my hand and made me point to him and say "no". It was cute. She's such a fun little girl.
She really likes her new DVD Monsters Inc. She wasn't so interested in Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. Maybe it isn't colorful enough for her? She also likes "Robots". I'm glad we bought her some new DVDs. They may not be super educational, but they keep her entertained, which we like.

Thurs Feb 16th
Yesterday after work I didnt do much since I worked late. I got all Eddie's sisters invitation embelishments cut out. Now all I have to do is glue them on.
After that I read a little and went to bed.
I didnt get to see Vallerie this morning before I left. She was still sleeping. I'm kind of sad. I like seeing her before I leave.
Not much going on today. I got set up in the mailroom so I can fill in for Pam next week. That's about it for now...

Wednesday Feb 15th
While working yesterday I heard some odd noises coming from downstairs. It sounded like Vallerie was knocking the house down. I go 1/2 way down the stairs and see Eddie taking pictures in the hall. I had no clue what he was doing until I saw Vallerie move from under a little table we have. She was just having a good time under it. We got some pictures. She then decided to do snow angels on the hall floor. What a little weirdo.
Yesterday after work we went out to eat with my Grandpa. I had french toast! He seemed to be doing pretty good. Said he wasn't feeling well earlier, but was better. After we ate we stopped by his house and got our valentines. Vallerie got a Mickey and a Minnie stuffed animal from him, and a Hello Kitty stuffed animal from my aunt. I got a really sweet bear that came with a necklace from my grandpa. It's gold, but I will wear it. It's a heart with a red gem and small diamond inside.
After that we came home and put Vallerie to bed. I read a little bit and then fell asleep on the couch. I was bored I guess. Finally woke up and went into bed around 1am.
I did not want to get up today. After Vallerie woke up (late 7:30) we hung out until nap time then I napped on the couch until I had to go to work It's good I work from home today because I really didn't want to get moving. Tomorrow and Friday are gonna suck. I have to go in the office UGH. Oh well it pays the bills I guess.

Tuesday Feb 14th (Valentine's Day)
Happy Valentine's Day!
Yesterday after work Vallerie did some more finger painting. She did it for about 40 minutes and made some really good things. She only ate the paint once. About 1/2 way through I gave her a brush and she used that really good. The only bad thing now is, we're almost out of paint! So I will probably have to go out and get more. It's fun seeing her little mind work when she's painting.
After that, she was a little messy, so I gave her a quick bath. She decided to "decorate" the tub with baby hand prints. It was cute. Then she went down for a nap and I read a little.
I bought Monsters Inc for Vallerie online yesterday. Guess what... it's on tv today, so we're recording it on our Tivo. Kinda funny in that "wtf" way.
Started making Eddie's sister's invitations. I figure I will do about 30. I have a lot more cricut cutting to do, but I have also been trying out my new embossing machine. It's really cool!
After Vallerie went to bed I read a little more and then did the dishes. After that I watched some Dr. Who and played around on the internet. I am all done with season 4 of Dr. Who and there is a new doctor for season 5 (hard to explain why there's a different guy who is the same character if you haven't seen the show) but the new doctor is butt ass ugly. I don't know if I can even watch it. I might go back and watch the previous seasons again. It's one of those shows that you can go back and know more details about older shows because the newer ones tell you things... I don't know how to explain it.
I am tired today. I must have stayed up too late last night. I think my grandpa is stopping by today to drop off a valentine. We may try to get him to go out to dinner with us. It snowed a little last night, so I'm not sure how the roads are, but they should be ok by this afternoon. I ended up working from home today rather than going into the office like I had planned. Eddie asked that I stay home today since it was Valentine's day. I didn't mind. I don't think there was anything I absolutely had to go in to work for. I will be in Thursday anyway.

Monday Feb. 13th
We had a pretty good weekend I think.
Friday night I met Eddie's sister in town and we went to Hobby Lobby to get some paper for her invitations. I also got an embossing machine. I haven't tried it out just yet, but I will very soon. After that I came home and watched some Dr. Who and went to bed.
Saturday Eddie's sister came over and we hung out most of the day. After she left I went to CVS and got some paint and markers for Vallerie. Then we watched the Change Up movie (kinda funny) and then Eddie played his video game and I watched some tv.
Sunday we went to Walmart and got a few things. We got a little lamp to put in the living room. It gives off just enough light. We were going to get Vallerie the Monsters Inc movie because we thought she would like it, but the didn't have it, so we got a couple other movies instead. I will probably order it online. After we got home Vallerie did some finger painting. It only lasted about 10 minutes but she didn't get very messy. We're going to try again today. She also colored with her new Color Wonder metallic markers. They are SO cool!! They only work on the special paper and the marker part is clear, so if Vallerie were to put the marker tip in her mouth, there would be no color on her face. I will say that she did really good and didn't try to eat the markers (or the paint)
After she was in bed I came upstairs and made a few valentines. I was going to mail them out today, but Vallerie didn't finish her part yet, so they will have to go out tomorrow.

Friday Feb 10th
Since I had 3 days off I hardly got on the computer. Here's a run down of what we did.
Tuesday: Vallerie and I went out to try and find a guide to one of Eddie's games. We went to 4 places but no one had it. (Turns out it's not even out yet) We went to Once Upon a Child and got Vallerie some cute stuff. She got 8 pants and 5 shirts for $25. Then we went to Target (still looking for the guide) Eddie and I thought it would be nice to get Vallerie a new toy, so we stopped in the toy isle and I saw the most awesome toy ever. It's a Zany Zoo. Here's a pic:

It's a fairly good size too. Vallerie wanted to play with it while we were in the store. Once we got it home, she only played with it a little. I think I played with it more than she did!
Wednesday we stayed home and I cleaned a little bit. I got a lot of the clutter that was in the living room cleaned up. Then I just played with Vallerie all day. It was nice. That night Eddie and I watched the final Harry Potter. For some reason I thought it ended differently in the book. I mean it ended the same, but I thought some of the details were wrong. It has been a while since I read the book so I could be wrong.
Thursday I did pretty much nothing. I got my cricut cartridges in the mail so after Vallerie went to bed, I messed around with them and started designs for Eddie's sisters invitations. I think I have the design down, now all I need to do is get some paper.
Here are some funny things Vallerie did the past 3 days:
Opened a book and stood on it. (On one of her favorite shows, they jump into books, not sure if she was trying to copy that)
Learned the word "Eww" and used it frequently.
Hopped on her knees. I had one of her stuffed animals and was hopping it around, then Vallerie thought she would try. She was having a good time.
Danced a lot. That's always fun to watch.
Licked the window on the door. As I was getting the mail one day all I see is Vallerie with her hands on the door and a little tongue pressed up against the glass. It was funny.
I think that's about all that happened the last few days. If I remember anything else I will put it up.

Monday Feb. 6th
We had a fun weekend!
Friday after work we went into town to try and look at some couches. Vallerie went with us. The first place we went was lay-z-boy. Vallerie had such a good time running around the store. I didn't get a chance to look at anything because I was following her the whole time. She wasn't like a crazy kid knocking stuff over or anything. She just wanted to walk/run. She mostly stuck to the path around the show floor.
After that we went to Star Furniture. Vallerie once again wanted to walk around. This time she got a little more fussy when we tried to move her in a certain direction and pick her up, so we cut that trip a little short and went home.
After Vallerie was in bed we finished up one of our video games. By the time we were done it was like 2am. That is really really late for us so were were both pretty tired.
Saturday we dropped Vallerie off at Eddie's sisters and went out by ourselves to look at more couches. We went to 5 stores and ended back up at Star Furniture where we bought our new couch. It's a sectional with a chase lounge, and it is HUGE! The longest piece (if put together correctly) is 12 feet. We had Eddie's other sister and her husband bring it to our house since they have a trailer and a big truck, so we didn't have to pay for shipping. By the time Eddie and his brother in law got it in the house it took us about 4 hours to get it in and moved around in a way that we weren't blocking any doors in the living room. It's not exactly put together the way it was in the store. We just didn't have enough wall space, but the good thing is we can move it around in pieces. It's kind of a couch bed now... I took some pics but haven't put them on the computer yet.
Sunday we were planning on cleaning the house because we had to move our other furniture in the dining room and there was a lot of stuff from the cabinets in our entertainment center that we had to take out so we could move it around. We didn't really get to do that because Eddie's sister wanted to hang out. I did the dishes before they came over and we just left the other mess there. They stayed for a few hours and Eddie cooked dinner.
I forgot to mention that Saturday we also went to Walmart to get the last 2 Harry Potter movies. Turns out they aren't producing the dvd's anymore, so once they are gone there wont be any more. We were upset because Walmart didn't have any, and we thought we would have to buy them online for an insane price. Eddie's sister found them at Meijer so she bought them for us and brought them over on Sunday.
After Eddie's sister and family left, we watched one of the Harry Potters and went to bed. I think we'll watch the other one tonight. Neither of us has seen it, so I know that I am pretty excited to see it. I think Eddie is too. We were going to watch it last night, but I was too tired and knew I would fall asleep.
Working from home today and then I have 3 days off. I am going to take a few vacation days and relax and clean the house. I originally took them off to go couch shopping, but since that is done I'm just going to do whatever.
My new cricut cartridges should be here this week, so I'll probably start on Eddie's sisters invitations. I will have to take her to Hobby Lobby to pick out some paper. I might mess around with the design first.
That's about all there is for now.

Friday February 3rd
Forgot to blog yesterday. No time I suppose.
Wednesday night we had spaghetti and then I watched some Dr. Who and went to bed. I was tired. I worked later than normal so I could get an extra project done for work. I did a lot that day. 100+ calls and entered in a couple hundred surveys.
Yesterday was also a busy day at work. I called 100+ people again (normal calling day is around 50) and I did some training online for a couple things. After work we had left over spaghetti. Vallerie had some too. She was covered in it when she was done, but it was bath night, so it was ok. Eddie took some pics of her in the bath. One of her doing the duck face. She still had spaghetti all over her face. It was a good pic.
After all that I watched more Dr. Who (good show) and then went to bed. Eddie was looking at remote control trucks online. It was funny. There was this one he saw that was a mini semi. I say mini, but it was probably longer than our car! So while it was a mini truck, it was actually pretty huge.
Today is going to be only semi busy. I still have about 50 people to call and I have a couple meetings, but I think I will be able to get everything done. I was so worried I wouldn't be able to finish all 3 projects work gave me, but I am confident I will get them all done without any help from the other girls. That makes me happy.
We'll probably go out this weekend and look at couches. I got my tax refund deposited today, so I will send some to my mom for vacation and Eddie's teeth (he needs to go to the dentist badly) and then whatever is left over we will spend some on a few things we have been wanting, and try to save the rest for a rainy day. We had thought about opening up a savings account for Vallerie. Not sure if we will do it or not. We should probably start saving for her college fund soon.
I think I mentioned that she has been really attached to her dog that she sleeps on. She has been wanting it taken out of her crib when she gets up for the last week. It's pretty cute, but it's not exactly small, so it's kind of a pain in the butt. She will drag it around and put it on her head. She's even been putting it on the couch and laying on it while she watches tv. That is until her shows start singing, then she will get down on the floor and dance. I swear she gets cuter every day.
I ordered the two cricut cartridges on walmart.com that I wanted. They should get here in about a week. I am excited to use them. I think me and Eddie's sister will go out next week and get some paper to use for her baby shower invitations. That will be fun.
I tried to put my paper roses into a flower ball, but it didn't work. They weren't symmetrical enough. So, I have 2 options. I can buy some styrofoam balls and glue them onto that (don't know if it will work) or I can just make them into flowers with stems. I did mess around a little with that. Eddie said they were ok. Not great, but not horrible. Not sure what I will do yet. I have not mastered using floral tape, so maybe that's what was wrong with them.
10:40am
I was looking over the images for my new awesome cricut cartridges, and they gave me a good idea. I think I am going to make a scrapbook for Vallerie. It will be about her 1st year of life. I think it will end with pics of her 1st birthday party at my moms. I have no clue how to make a scrapbook, but I will figure it out.
I should probably get that photo printer hooked up to see if it works. I'm kind of excited now. Guess this means I need... NEW PAPER (that was for you Eddie) HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
No, I'll probably work with what I have.

Wednesday February 1st
Yesterday after work I played with Vallerie until bed time and then watched some Dr. Who and fell asleep on the couch. I never did make it to bed. Oh well. I slept pretty good.
Today I am calling a bunch of people for work. Normally I call about 50 people a day. I have been working for 2 1/2 hours and have called 65. It's nuts! I have about 250 more people to call in the next 2 days so I really have to get moving. I just hope I can get through them all.
Better go. Will update later if I have anything cool to say.
