Yesterday after I got home Eddie played some of the Diablo 3 demo that he got from his brother in law. We installed it on both our computers to see if it would run, and it works on both, but it works best on "mine". Eddie was a little disappointed. It would have been great if it ran good on both computers because then we could play together.
While he was doing that I hung out with Vallerie and started crocheting another can kozie. I had a few ideas for some more. A cupcake, corn, a zombie, a cactus and a watermelon. Vallerie was really good. She even sat in my lap while I did it. She was pretty good most of the afternoon. She started getting fussy around 6 but I think it was because she was hungry.
After dinner we put Vallerie to bed and I went through her old clothes that I put in boxes. Mulberry is having a town garage sale this weekend, so I thought it would be a good time to sell some of the things we were going to put in storage. We're going to try and sell my exercise bike (which is currently being used as a clothes rack), our poker table, Vallerie's old clothes, and Eddie's old shirts (assuming he goes through them in time). I put stain remover on some of Vallerie's clothes that needed it, and I hope the stains come out. None of them were terribly bad, but I wouldn't want them to be sold looking like they did. I haven't washed them yet. I will do that this afternoon when I get home. If they don't sell at the garage sale, we'll probably take them to Once Upon a Child and see if they want them.
After that, I watched some new episodes of Drop Dead Diva on Netflix and crotcheted some more. I made my zombie and corn kozies. The zombie didn't turn out exactly as I had planned, but it's still pretty neat. The corn turned out pretty good though. I might make some more of those. I think tonight I will try out the cupcake and the cactus. I went to bed around midnight, so I am a little tired today.
I brought a box of hair clips into work so some of my coworkers could take some home to their daughters/nieces/grand kids. Don't know (or care) if I will make any money from them or not. They were fun to make and not expensive. I would assume I would get a little money for them though. Doesn't really matter to me. I mean, I would like money, but it's more of a nice gesture on my part.
In other news, I have chipped both my top and bottom front teeth. It's not bad, but I can feel it, and if you didn't know I did it, then you wouldn't notice. It still bothers me though, and I don't even know how I did it. I may call the dentist to have them check it out. I am overdue for a cleaning anyway. Eddie needs to go back to the dentist to get a look at his root canal, but with everything that's going on, I don't know when we will have the available funds to do it. I'm just glad his tooth isn't hurting him at the moment. We have bigger things on our plate right now than Eddie going to the dentist. I feel bad that I am going to go though because he needs to go worse than I do, but it's not going to cost me anything like it will him.
That's about it for now.
