Wish it wasn't Wednesday

8:02 AM
When I got home from work yesterday, my grandpa was there. He asked Eddie and I to go out to supper. We went to the Stonehouse in town. It was good. I had pancakes, Eddie had A burger and fries. Vallerie had a few of her daddy's fries. Mmm. My g-pa also had a pancake, he always tells this story when he eats pancakes.

There was a daddy mole, a mommy mole, and a baby mole. One day the daddy mole poked his head out of the mole house and said "I smell pancakes!" Momma mole poked her head out and said "I smell bacon!" Baby mole tried to poke his head out but there was no room. Baby mole said "All I smell is mole asses" (get it?)

I've heard that story several times, this was the 1st time Eddie heard it. He thought it was funny. Vallerie was well behaved.

On our way home, we were dropping my grandpa off. My grandpa, thought he would try and be sneaky, and pretend to be buckled in, by holding his seat belt over him. Eddie caught this and said "Busted!" My g-pa tried to say he couldn't get it buckled. He didn't have a problem on the way there! LOL! He is so funny.

I have been putting Vallerie's crocheted hat on her lately, and whenever we go out, people always comment on how cute it is. (I bought it here: http://www.etsy.com/shop/NogginCovers) I'm sure the baby underneath it helps make it so. They also always comment on her blue eyes. (Thanks to me hehe) She is just to adorable. It's nice when other people say it, because then you know you have a cute baby. Some people have ugly babies, but they don't know they are ugly because it's their baby... Sounds mean, but really, not all babies are cute.

After we got home from supper, we put little V in bed (she went fast to sleep, like a little rock, it was sweeeeeet) I was getting ready to go upstairs and craft, but Eddie asked me to watch TV with him, so I did, and we fell asleep. Oh I had such good intentions for last night. I was going to make some earrings, cards, bookmarks, I was going to ride a few miles on the bike, tidy up the kitchen, watch a movie, sigh. Oh well. I can always try and do all that tonight. I NEED to get on that bike again. I've felt very guilty for not using it the last couple days. I did however enjoy the 10 hours of sleep that I got.

I am getting irritated. There are several things at work that need fixed in order for me to do my job. Invoices need to be fixed so it doesn't tell people to pay by 01/01/0001, Letters need to be made so I can send out catalogs that don't mention a Feb. deadline, and I need permissions to go in and fix a map so customers can get their seed. These are important things that need fixed, and SOON. I asked for the letters last week, so catalog requests are piling up, I asked for the invoice fix yesterday, and invoices are piling up, I asked for permissions on Monday, and these maps need to go out like yesterday. I don't know if the people I asked to do these things, just don't think I am important enough to listen to, or what. Very frustrating. I really can't do 1/2 of my job responsibilities because of these things. Guess I'll do what I can.

I tried a new drink today, it's a "Java Monster" it's basically a coffee/energy drink. Let me tell you, it woke me right up, and it wasn't too bad of a drink. Too expensive to drink each day, but good none the less.

Well, 2 out of the 3 things I needed to be fixed were fixed, so I got more done that I thought I would. Heck, I could probably take care of the 3rd thing, but it's not my job and it's not something I should risk doing. Need to pop by the store before I come home. I think I'll just go to the one here instead of where I live, that way I can take a shopping cart out to my car, rather than have some kid take my groceries out to me. I really hate that "service", so I try to make sure only to buy what I can carry in 2 hands. I really hope to get some crafting in tonight. I was about to go insane here today, it was just a day of problems, luckily I fixed, or had help fixing, most of them. There was this one project I had hoped to tackle, but it won't happen. The printer doesn't like the paper I would need to print on. Oh well, at least I tried.

I added a picture on the side of the blog, encouraging people to comment even if I didn't know them. I may regret that, especially since most of what I do is bitch about things that aren't really so terrible...
