March coming to an end

The end of March is upon us. Easter is on Sunday and we have a big weekend planned.

Tomorrow we are going to the town square and Vallerie is hunting eggs. My cousin flew in from CA today so she will be here. Then in the afternoon Vallerie is going to have tea with the Easter Bunny at the Tea House. I think we will also be eating our Easter dinner that night.

Sunday we are going to Eddie's brother in laws parents house to hunt eggs with all of Vallerie's cousins.

We went out and got Vallerie's Easter basket and goodies yesterday. We tried to get as little candy as we could because she's going to get enough from everyone else.

I made her a new hat to wear if it's cool enough. I even learned how to make a pretty crochet flower that can clip on the hat. I suppose if it's too warm for the hat she could always wear the flower clip by itself.

It snowed about 7in on Monday. Tuesday we went out and built a snowbunny zombie.
I think it turned out pretty good. Vallerie had fun helping and playing in the snow. It's like 50 degrees today, so all the snow is gone.

Not much else has been happening. We've been trying to get everything unpacked and organized. It's pretty tough. We have a lot of stuff that really has no place.

Tuesday March 12th

February has come and gone. We did buy our first home on the 28th. We've pretty much moved everything in. There's still a bit that we need to go through at the old house.

Our new washer and dryer come tomorrow. I am super excited about that. We got the stackable ones. They are going to look great in our laundry room. Eddie put in new flooring and I painted.

Vallerie has a cold. She's been sick for the past week or so. Last night she had a bloody nose. I felt so bad for her. She didn't want to go to bed. That's frustrating. I am hoping that once she feels better she will be back to sleeping normally.

She's seems to be getting a lot better at putting complete sentences together. She's also been asking what the name of things are. She'll point to something and say "What's name". I think that's pretty cool.

I need a haircut (hint hint mom) and I think I want to color it too. Nothing drastic. Maybe just go back to my natural color, or a little browner. Not sure.

That's about all I know. There's been a lot going on, but at the same time it's been pretty slow going, so there's not a lot to report.
